Hi all...

I have been a 'rollie' (rolling cigarettes) smoker for a couple years now, and I'm looking to replace them with a decent e-cig.
I have 2 options in mind, and was hoping someone could take a look and give me some feedback on which is the better one.

I don't like a harsh throat kick, i enjoy the lighter side of smoking...

Here are the 2:

vapeking.co.za/vape-king-pro-starter-kit-prokit.html
and
twisp.co.za/buy-online-twisp/starter-packs/twisp-clearo-lite-details.html

help me out here...
cheers:)

The vape-king kit looks like a better deal to start, as it includes a tank which offers replaceable heads and a battery which allows you to change the voltage. Those two features let you tailor the heat and thereby the throat hit to your liking. Replaceable heads also keep your ongoing costs down.

One thing I would suggest is starting out with a second battery, as you want to have a vape available while the other one is charging. Success in vaping depends on having a working backup available - an extra set of heads for the clearomizer would be a good idea too. Good luck with making the switch!

The vape king would be the better of the two. Twice the battery amp hours, and a known atomizer. And something similar is the minimum set up I'd recommend to check out vape. Will provide a decent vape, and give you a taste of what vape could be. I used something similar 9 months ago, now I use one of these:

what got me to instantly quit a 2 pk/day habit to start was an eGo-type battery 1100 mAh minimum pass-thru...so I could still use it while it charged. everybody has their own preferences but I suggest pairing it with Kanger eGo t-2 or t-3 (top vs bottom coil) that you can replace the coils on...easy to rinse, change coil & try a new flavor until you find one you like. best starter set up & what I recommend to new to vaping friends. I have been tobacco free for over 2 1/2 yrs. (& I am not a new member, old member who had to set up a new account). Start with this or a variable voltage eGo-type battery before you buy a more expensive set up.

hmmm Okayyy heres the problem... you want something to replace smoking... only thing that is going to replace smoking is another tobacco product that burns. What you are looking for is an alternative method of supplying nicotine. Fortunately, vaping offers that nicotine replacement with the mainly similar actions of smoking ( probably why so many people have been able to switch over)...
consider a battery that will last a full day ( 1000mAh+) and a tank that is minimally low maintainence ( rebuildable coil)....

I kind of agree with the suggestions you have gotten so far but I just wanted to welcome you to ecf and wish you luck with your vaping no matter what you decide to start out with. ECF is a pretty wonderful place for me and I can't tell you how many times the wonderful people here have helped me. Good luck to you my new ecf friend. :)
