Hi I'm new here so my opinion may not be worth much, but this is my experience so far. I just got my first ecig 2 days ago. It's the only one I've tried so as I said my opinion probably isn't worth much. It's the Bloog maxx fusion mini the one with the 65 mm batteries. I've smoked for 40 years. All I can say is that it's only a little bigger than a real cig, maybe an inch longer, and as far as the smoking experience I can't feel any difference except that it's heavier. It has a lot of vapor and TH. It feels like smoking a real cig. It does not require a primer puff and has a draws just like an analog. I got the menthol carts. The starter kits are out of stock, but I got 2 batteries and 25 carts, car charger, and usb/wall charger. I will buy the pcc case as soon as they are back in stock. I have no experience with any other ecig, but all I can say is it is so much like a real smoke I can' tell the difference. Except it tastes better.

Howdy, I'm new here and I just got my first ecig 2 days ago so my opinion probably isn't worth very much, but I'll offer it anyway. I got the Maxx fusion mini. The one with 65mm batteries. It's got lots of vapor and TH. It's about an inch longer than a real cig and heavier. It smokes just like a real cig. It does not need a primer puff and has an easy draw no different from the real thing. The starter kits are out of stock so I ordered 2 batteries, 25 carts, a wall/usb charger and a car charger. I will order a pcc when they get them in stock. Actually it works out cheaper than buying the starter kit anyway for some reason. As I said I'm just barely a beginner and this is my first and only ecig so my opinion isn't worth much. All I can say is I've smoked for 40 years and I can't tell that it's not a real cigarette.

I don't see any holes below the thread so it could also be a 901

I know the pic is a little blurry - best I could do. There are 4 'notches' on the tip of the cartomizer that appear to let air in if that helps.

as for juice, I started with 6mg stuff & bought some 0nic of the same flavors so I could tone it down even more if I needed too. I'm like you, I like to vape/smoke all day... but even the 6mg made me dizzy and gave me a headache ( and I smoked MB Reds)

we sound like we're very similar smokers - thanks for the advice. I'm already getting used to having something bigger in my hand so I'm thinking that I'll go with a bigger battery - just something to get used to. I have a friend that is also new to this and he let my drip some of his juice on a spent cart I had. I instantly got way more vape and too much nicotine, but it was 16mg stuff - I don't understand how these people can use the heavy stuff - and I'm a HUGE smoker - I chain smoke.

I've ordered some juice from Liberty Flights to hopefully solve that problem.

as far as the smoking experience I can't feel any difference except that it's heavier.

Thanks for the input! I think I'm leaning towards a 510 with a big batt. haha, though. I saw the number of replies on my thread and got excited. Turns out they were mostly you.

I vote for my eGo T, which I am pretty sure came out in 2011. And although I don't have any specific wisdom (other than a few disposable 510's), I typically feel like technology evolves so why get a model from years of old.

I like the ease of filling and carrying extra tanks. The juice is cheap and Vicki from CIGNOT rules for shipping times and special requests. The battery lasts all day and has a safety shut-off (so you don't suddenly feel your pocket on fire!!). The attys have a very long life when used with clear juice. All my comments are good about the Ego-T except that the juice may leak (by leak I mean just enough that you know it is there...in the seam between the atty and the tank/tip) on some tanks...just rotate it and it usually stops. I've never had it leak much, since I use it every hour, not even a drop at it's worst. It's usually just visible, not even smearable. It has never gotten on my clothes or anything it was sitting on.

Hope a newbie can help!! My experience has been exceptional, just trying to help others, like I was helped on this forum.

He was wondering about holes below the threads on the adapter attached to the battery. I would say that chances are that you have a KR808D-1 compatible gizmo since those are more prevalent than the D-2s... but that's not definitive.

I'm already getting used to having something bigger in my hand so I'm thinking that I'll go with a bigger battery - just something to get used to.

Since you anticipate chain vaping it, probably a good idea. Fwiw, an 18650 sized batt has a whole lot of capacity. If you do take up vaping in earnest, and vape as much as you describe... you may end up there sooner or later... but an eGo sized batt is not a bad place to start.

There are two holes opposite each other between the threads and the batt.

It really was pretty darn good with the juice my friend let me try, but I don't think it's the PV for me. Who knows? Maybe I'll find myself preferring it. I'm hoping to be able to give it to someone who shows interest when they see me with my 510. Share the love, etc.

Got my stuff today!

I like the Riva. Worked out of the box, but I put the backup battery on the charger and it wasn't fully charged. It might get even better.

My initial impression of the juice I bought isn't so good, though. I got the USA Mix and the Virgina Blend both from Liberty Flights. I'm getting a menthol taste from both of them. I don't understand why. They should be tobacco flavored.

Ironically that same Freedom Smokeless kit was the first one I got. It SUCKED!!! You'll be a lot happier with the Riva. I have the eGo but, I just bought one of those Rivas for my sister in-law and it's what I'd buy, if I was starting now. Lots of things will fit it and there are a lot of things to try. I'm just getting started. Here's to hoping we find the right combination.

You can put cartomizers on an eGo, it's mostly just a bigger batt. Either with an adapter or there are plenty of cartos with 510 threads available too.

I got an eGo and KR808D (2nd one for cheap, with dozens of pref-filled carts of regular strength nic, various flavors) and I think it was perfect for me.

Cartomizers = simple to start, no futzing.

eGo = more control, more choices, but way more cognitive overhead.
