I guess the simply saline is quite siilar to a neti pot but is saline, has a slight force behind it and easier to use in many ways.
As long as the saline is sterile, from a sealed source, yeah. It's not like you can use some, handling the bottle with your germy fingers, then close it up and put it back in the medicine cabinet for 6 months to fester.
Oh and yeah, I remember that episode!
Even weirder, if you've ever seen those shows about people with weird obsessions, this one lady was obsessed with her own urine. She'd drink it, bathe in it, and even use it in a neti pot.
She was right up there with the lady who ate foam rubber. Seat cushions, mattresses, nothing was safe with her around.
I don't do it often but when I do I use distilled water. A gallon only lasts a couple of weeks in my apartment anyway thanks to my C-Pap.
The eating of wacky things is a disease called Pica.

Had that discussion with my cat this morning. I told him I should kill him and settled for crushing his furry little face but then he said "I am your cat and I luuuuuuuuuv you" He won as always
After researching a new monitor for Dad, I told him to have someone check that the monitor was tightly connected on both end. He said it was now good so I assumed they hadn't connected it well when he moved back to his room a few weeks ago (after the leak in the ceiling was fixed.)
I went to visit yesterday. His monitor turns such a pretty shade of pink. And when it's not pink, it gives lovely, flashing light shows.
Of course the prices of new monitors had changed since I last looked so back to DealNews, Amazon, NewEgg and Staples. The good news is that Staples will deliver the new monitor on Tuesday or Wednesday. My sister, my niece and I will all be there Thursday so we have a nice 25-second project.
Is there any way to change the default sort in folders on a PC? It's in list format, showing details. He wants the most recent on top and it completely throws him when he accidentally clicks on "name" and it changes to alphabetical. He said that when the story he is working on is missing from the top, he can find another copy of it further down the list. I tried explaining it like sorting cards in a hand in different ways (he's a Life Master in contract bridge) but he's going to be 95 in less than a month. His brain just isn't flexible enough to grasp things like that any more.

I've never set the default sort to Date... but this may hold the answer for you.
This video is pretty tough to watch all the way through, but it does sort of get your adrenaline pumping a bit.
If you've got a heart condition or extreme fear of heights, I'd recommend not watching.
I've done some crazy stuff in my day, but these people are insane.
I once drunkenly straddled an F-4 Phantom jet (grounded) right behind the cockpit, a la Slim Pickens on the bomb in Dr. Strangelove, while being chased by base security in a total downpour during a complete electrical blackout.
Other than facing possible brig time, nowhere near as dangerous as those in the vid.

Don't think I will watch the video LOL My husband is a tower climber and I won't even go watch him climb. I just make calls to make sure that there are local rescue people that can climb if he gets into something where he needs help. Sheesh, I dont even like looking over the railing from my loft.
Those people have severe mental health problems.
I did like the guy near the beginning who was on a bridge wearing a bathing suit and crash helmet because, if you fall off a bridge, a crash helmet will ensure you don't have any serious injuries (other than possibly having fragments of a shattered helmet embedded in your smashed up head.)
