I believe the hair is used to make wigs for breast cancer patients.
Sybil's hair isn't long enough... so she's going to try and get it to grow long enough for next year.

If it is long enough for Locks of Love, the gray will be fine. They changed their policies and allow dyed hair now because they have a hard time finding that which isn't. They use the untreated hair for the small children going through chemo and the treated gets used for everyone else...
oh yeah....Good morning everyone... finally got into my deej juice...choc almond ecstasy ... it was pretty good yesterday but was even better this morning so will be patient a little longer on it... glad I did a 3 ml tank of it so don't have to be that patient![]()
Good morning y'all
I'd heard of locks for love, and have contemplated giving them some frizzy hair... My skull is way too bumpy to go the St. Balricks route- but i respect the heck out of the women who do it. Sybil's group raised an incredible amount of money. Yay!!
(are you gonna post a link to the head-shaving video for those of us who missed it, Deej? )

I use cartos and eVods mostly. I find in both cases things do taste better the next day. But I think it's more from having a good long undisturbed soaking into the wicking material, more so than whatever difference those few hours of steeping would make.
In fact now, whenever I start a new carto or coil, after a few initial draws to get things flowing, I "try" to let it sit undisturbed for a good long while regardless of the time of day.
Not to say that steeping doesn't help, It surely does in a lot of cases. But I just think that steeping is a much more gradual process that probably couldn't be distinguished on a day by day basis.
I've had some juices that I wasn't crazy about when first loaded. But after a good soaking I was able to get more of a full effect of what the mixer was going for and ended up liking it.
