I think that is a wonderful cause. My daughter had Alopecia when she was 6 so I donated hair to Locks of Love for twenty some years. That is another wonderful organization that makes wigs for children. I've never shaved my head (although I've threatened too) but when you cut 28 inches off at one time it is pretty close to it. My daughter has done this before for St. Baldricks, so that is how I know about it. She liked it so well, she still wears it extremely short. Thumbs up for Sybil. :)

Good morning y'all :)

I'd heard of locks for love, and have contemplated giving them some frizzy hair... My skull is way too bumpy to go the St. Balricks route- but i respect the heck out of the women who do it. Sybil's group raised an incredible amount of money. Yay!!

(are you gonna post a link to the head-shaving video for those of us who missed it, Deej? )

If it is long enough for Locks of Love, the gray will be fine. They changed their policies and allow dyed hair now because they have a hard time finding that which isn't. They use the untreated hair for the small children going through chemo and the treated gets used for everyone else...

oh yeah....Good morning everyone... finally got into my deej juice...choc almond ecstasy ... it was pretty good yesterday but was even better this morning so will be patient a little longer on it... glad I did a 3 ml tank of it so don't have to be that patient :D

I use cartos and eVods mostly. I find in both cases things do taste better the next day. But I think it's more from having a good long undisturbed soaking into the wicking material, more so than whatever difference those few hours of steeping would make.

In fact now, whenever I start a new carto or coil, after a few initial draws to get things flowing, I "try" to let it sit undisturbed for a good long while regardless of the time of day.

Not to say that steeping doesn't help, It surely does in a lot of cases. But I just think that steeping is a much more gradual process that probably couldn't be distinguished on a day by day basis.

I've had some juices that I wasn't crazy about when first loaded. But after a good soaking I was able to get more of a full effect of what the mixer was going for and ended up liking it.

A video is (as I understand it) in the making. The way it was broadcast, all 9 were onscreen at once...

Here's Sybil after I got done with her...

If you go over to FB and look up Quest Vaping, there's some other screen caps.

Most of them are of Jibba (the organizer) getting his pits waxed... but scroll down... :)

The steeping recommendation on the bottle is to allow some time for some of the more concentrated flavorings to become pronounced enough to taste. :)

I use my sonic jewelry cleaner to jiggle them. I think just getting the juice out of the bottle and exposed to air for a while helps in the day to day taste thing, steeping brings more of the complexity... if that makes sense.

Locks of Love... do great things. Have done hair for them for perhaps 15 yrs. I grow it real long generally so they can do abut 30 inches. This time I just had it cut and didn't go to them as last cut was goofy and all the layers made me have big hair without trying. My hair is thick, baby fine and when it starts getting real long it can take forever to dry even with a blow dryer but always have a smile in my heart when I package it up and send it off to them.

She's got a good head for it. She just needs to wear big earrings when she goes out.

My hair, before it became so sparse, was still to fine to grow long. By the time it reached my shoulders, it started breaking a lot. In college, when it was required to have long hair (early 70s), I had to keep it in a pony tail. It looked like a rat's tail going down my back but it was long and that was all that matters.

And, like CES, I don't have the head for the shaved look. Most people have round, oval, square or heart-shaped faces. I never knew what to call my until my ex BIL referred to it as "peanut head." Apparently my sister also has a noticeable indentation at her temples on both sides. We both wear our hair fluffy-ish around there.
