Ooh I want one! :w00t:

Hiya clowder!

Sorry been busy today. Emma went and spoiled my plans about her going gently into the goodnight. She's barely been eating once a day, if that, and has still been progressing downhill, just slowly.

But today when she came out, she had a large abscess on her jaw. So now she wouldn't even touch the baby food I've been feeding her. Water was the only thing I could get into her.

I finally had enough, it's been a long slow decline over several months and I couldn't bear to watch anymore. I called the "visiting vets" and had them come out to put her down.

After 16 wonderful loving years shared between us, Emma is now at peace.

Rocky's here trying to help me feel better. More than once today he's wiped away my tear with his cheek.

Morning Clowder!

Got another freebie for ya's but this time it's not a game!

I'm sure many of are familiar with photo sharing sites like Photobucket, Flickr, Picasa, etc. There's a new one called Picturelife offering 30Gigs of free lifetime storage via this link: https://picturelife.com/adorama-vip

It will try to get you to install their app on your computer, but it's only needed if you want to do stuff like keeping picture folders on your computer synced with the ones on the site.

Their app is not needed on the computer because it's fully functional through your web browser. However you can also get their app on your phone or tablet for uploading / viewing / organizing pics etc from there.

If you need a pic sharing site, or are paying extra at another site for going over the storage limit, 30 Gigs is A LOT of pictures. I used to have to pay an annual fee since my Photobucket is over 1 Gig.

Good Morning everyone!

Hope you're hanging in there Trav, love the freebies. Keep them comin! I used to own a freebie resource site but I stopped when I got sick. I'm thinkin about starting it up again, now that I'm so healthy (hahaha) So many freebies out there! Of course, I'll let my friends know if I do.

If anyone is interested in earning the equivalent of $3 per survey guaranteed (not an entry to win) pm me with your email address. I am a member of an exclusive survey site (Pinecone Research) that you can not join unless you are invited. I don't get anything for you signing up, but I'd be happy to forward the email that lets you join! You earn 300 points per survey and can cash it out for $3 at any time via paypal or a check. I usually let it build up til I have 40-50 dollars then cash out, but I think you can cash out anytime you have 300. It's fun to do these and sometimes I get to do product testing too, they send out the stuff free and I get to test it and give my opinon.

Please note, there is a scam going on that claims to be Pinecone where they send you a check and ask you to send money to someone and deduct your $200 out of the check, but the check bounces and you are out the money you sent. The real PC is not associated at all with this scam, read the security warning on the site for more info.

Ok, time to get some work done!

Have a good one everyone!

cleo :)

Just to clarify, they pay you in rewards points, 300 for each actual survey that you do. You can then cash in these reward points for cash, gift cards, or donate to charity. 300 reward points = $3 Also, you do not get paid for the household questions surveys, which are just a couple/few questions to see if you are in their demographic for actual surveys. They only send these when they think you will quality, based on your profile.

Thanks man.

I don't think it's really registered yet with Rocky. I haven't seen him looking for her or anything. He did always want to take over her cat bed but he hasn't been in it since, other than to chase the laser. Could be he was just wanting to torment her a little, you know how siblings can be.

Well, my "dry throat thanks to allergies" cough is definitely being aggravated by vaping. It's not vaping's fault but PG is rather drying. I've spent a month coughing my head off but this week it's reached "I'm going to burst a blood vessel" levels. I'll be fine for a few hours then it starts again.

So, as much as possible, I'm going to treat my PV as a pacifier for a few days. Suck on it without pressing the button as much as possible. I take a lot of puffs that are habit or just the desire for the flavor rather than for the nicotine so I'm hoping that will help it heal.

I was wondering how your other one was dealing with the loss. I had to take one of mine in for some minor surgery and he had to stay overnight and the other one was howling the entire time, looking for him everywhere! He even opened up all the cupboards in the kitchen to check if he was hiding in there! I swear I could hear him whimpering. Poor kitty, but he was so happy to see him the next day.

Hope Rocky doens't go through something similar.

How lovely.

Poeia thought she was happy to get rid of Annabella but she's gotten a lot clingier. She didn't want to play with her, but she wanted her in the room so she could ignore her or complain about her as she saw fit.

We'll see. He may realize it just fine and be more cold hearted than I expected, I can't really tell. He was always kind of jealous of her. So much so that when I couldn't get him to come by calling him, I'd call Emma instead and he'd come running and start rubbing all over my legs.

He never really cut her much slack as she was declining in health either. He'd still pounce on her and stuff when she came out, though that could just be him being playful. But he'd also lay right in front of the water bowl sometimes, seemingly knowing full well that it was her desired destination.

Those types of behaviors were the only ones that I didn't really care for from him, but I could've been misreading them due to oversensitivity toward Emma's condition.

Other than that he's been great. Very affectionate towards me, an almost constant source of entertainment, always surprising the heck out of me with new tricks and shenanigans when we're playing.

It's possible he's just one of those one person cats and wants me to be a one cat person.

Have you tried not inhaling into your lungs, just into your mouth? Some people do well with that as a substitute, or even permanent solution. :)
