I love Jessica, and Pam in particular too! I do definitely like Sam too, and Lafayette can almost always crack me up. Eric I go back and forth on... :)

With Eric it isn't that I like him. He intrigues me. Other than protecting the precious flower that is Sookie, I never know what he'll do so it's worth watching to find out. The last scene I got to see had him showing up on Sookie's doorstep covered with cement.

I hope Amazon & HBO extend their agreement. I'd like to watch the rest at some point.

I watched the entire Trueblood series on HBOGO.com. Well back when it was just 6 seasons.

They decided to all come back and do a 7th "final final" season and I'm watching that now (up to ep4 so far). The 1st couple episodes had main characters dropping like flies. Overall I'm still not sure the encore performance was a good idea. But I'm invested and will continue to watch every week.

Well, hopefully the rest will load normally on your website, Deej. If not I just have to cross my fingers that Amazon will get it eventually.

I have to cover the screen during the opening credits. The song is fantastic but the dead animals are not.

I'm nice when I talk to customer service reps. If I get frustrated and snippy, I apologize. I say thank you at the end. But this guy is a saint.

After he posted this on the web,

In a statement, Comcast said it was "very embarrassed by the way our employee spoke with Mr. Block and Ms. Belmont." The company said it was contacting them to "personally apologize."

"The way in which our representative communicated with them is unacceptable and not consistent with how we train our customer service representatives," the statement said. "We are investigating this situation and will take quick action."

Block responded on Twitter: "I hope the quick action you take is a thorough evaluation of your culture and policies, and not the termination of the rep."

Good morning y'all :)

I like that "every bottle custom mixed" is front and center and very visible. The apocalypse tag line was fun, but it probably is time for a change. ...my early morning brain thinks that something along the lines of "deej designs the flavors and you define the custom mix" might fit in somewhere.

I watched a couple of seasons of true blood. It was ok, but the books are so much better. Sookie in the books is a much stronger character, and not nearly as simpering.

Morning all!

That apology by Comcast is pure BS. I'm sure that phone rep is considered one of their best and is even used to train new reps as to "how it's done". You know darn well they probably get bonuses based on how many customers they brow beat into staying.

When I was doing tech support for Compaq, one of the (many) unwritten / unspoken rules was, your job is not necessarily to fix their problem, your job is to get them off the phone.

Needless to say, I was gone as soon as I had fulfilled my contractual obligations.

That's a pity. I've never worked in customer service but at US News I used to get a lot of calls misdirected to me because I was "research." It didn't take any extra effort to say "I'm not the right person but I don't want to keep bouncing you around. Let me get your name and phone number. I'll find out who you should speak to and get back to you." It would take me 5 minutes -- it was usually someone in our DC office which is why our receptionist didn't know where to direct the call -- and we wouldn't end up with a frustrated, angry person who hated us.

What type of day was Wednesday.

On my way out I checked my mailbox for packages. There was a key for one of the big mailboxes in it so I knew my deejStuff had arrived. On my way back in, a couple of hours later, I picked up my mail and my package. When I got upstairs, I put them on a chair and unpacked my groceries and completely forgot about my package.

But I remembered now and my shelf is full of deejStuff.
