Dood I been lookin and no one says a MONTH. Some places like WebMD say a few DAYS. To be fair, I view WebMD as sort of an infectious agent in and of itself, so IDK.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was looking at treatments for night blindness and if it's congenital (mine is) well, this is one "treatment."
Your eye doctor will monitor your rods and cones, and may choose to revoke your night-driving license.
HOW IS THAT TREATMENT it SOUNDS LIKE DESCRIMINATION TO ME.
A better treatment might be "Driver is allowed to use high beams at all times!!!"
I mean, it's GENETIC. My HIGH BEAMS are like assistive AIDES!!! I MEAN!!
Yeah, for you see in the dark people it's a moment of discomfort. For me, it might mean the difference between like, running over a dog or even a small child!!!
"Revoke your night driving privileges."
It surely doesn't make me want to go to the eye doctor about my pinkeye I'll tell you that! I rarely drive at night, I do it SLLOOOW and I'm a morning person. I don't care to have my genetically poor rods and cones stared at by some Opthowhtever guy and he's like "They suck. Nothing I can do. Lemme see your driver's license."
I already GOT a "can't drive without assistive---" Ooops. My bad.
None of you know me.
But it's not like there are hordes of like home visit doctors around dying to home visit me and my pinkeye either.
To be fair, I guess I could have online medicine'd it and then CVS pharmacy would have brought me my script by in 3--4 business days and I could sit at home like, trying not to infect my other eye.
They told me (ophto whatevers) I was going to go blind someday. I did not believe them. I am starting to feel like I already AM.
OMG. Braile. A seeing eye dog. Those always seem to be German Shepherds and they STINK. I hear my other senses will be heightened….
I think I better go call someone. LOL.
