The husband is here. He's nesting. Some "We will buy your home for cash company" called me the other day. LOL. I was SO TEMPTED. Only the fact that we would lose SO MUCH profit is what stopped me.

I'm the only name on the mortgage, so like, even though Arizona's a community property state STOPPED me. And like, probably I could have done it. Maybe.

Because he LEAVES tomorrow. He's out communing with the dog and smoking.

It looks..... Inhabited in here after my big clean. I really caught the cleaning bug bad today. I was cleaning from 12---4 ish or something, and I am a highly efficient cleaner.

Also, if victory in war was measured by corpses on the field not the "last man standing" well the roaches would have won by a fair margin.

It left me feeling like we both had lost, but now I have the excitement of seeing if any MORE dead roaches appear because like, I definitely got Every Last One.

And the little german roachs are immune to almost every poison that won't kill you also. My friend in Florida is an exterminator, told me this, and he's good at killing roaches.

IDK. IDK.. We're just gonna keep boric aciding.

I don't think there is an elderly house in Douglas that doesn't have them and my husband seems to think there are roving bands of roaches that just PLOUGH through the town. I'm starting to believe him. I have not seen a live one in a great while, though.

Anyway, this is why we are going rural and 15-20 minutes out of town. Buying one of these houses and fixing them up is no longer my cup of tea.

As long as they aren't bigger than my fist (like the flying roaches in my Tucson house) I don't get to exercised about it.

Boric acid ca kill you when it's wet. The husband did it this time because the last time I did, (back in Tucson) despite using every precaution, I started to twitch. I mean, I bathed which is what they tell you to do anyway.

The twitching was unpleasant though, it did give me a modicum of sympathy for roaches but like, not THAT much. Not enough to not keep killing them.

Anna ; I 'll say this about roach control.
I learned the hard way, you have to be religious about cleaning your kitchen. Leave nothing for the bugs to eat, rinse out food cans, take out the trash and keep the garbage cans away from the house. And wipe down your counters and stovetop with something like clorox cleaner. It took me almost 3 weeks to get rid of the damn bugs even after Greg stated spraying for me but I do all these things as habit now and rarely have to step on s roach anymore. Although I still get extreme satisfaction from the crunchy sound they make. They might survive a nucular war but my size 14's still end their life. As Madeye Moody said
" Constant Vigilance "!!!
