Aww, I need a funny badge? Who would have thunk it. LOL.

I don't much care for badges usually, especially on those "retreat training thingies." I always put another name whether half the group knows me or NOT. I mean I figure the half that know me KNOW ME, the other half can call me Beryl.

I really am starting to hate having to stick a hole in my fingers to check my blood glucose levels...diabetes really SUX donkey bedonkedonk!
Yup. And if all that monitoring doesn't inform treatment or anything else, it ain't worth the cost of the test strips.

Actually, my fasting readings have been running so low lately, I'm wondering if the meter is out of calibration, but it seems more credible two hours after eating. It's a Freestyle Lite, by the way.

I'm on a One Touch Ultra Two and One Touch test strips, sometimes, the stick isn't deep enough to get a proper sample so I gotta stick myself two or three times to get enough blood...there has to be a better way to do this...just now I got a reading of over 200+...guess I been a bad boy today, didn't expect such a high number all things considered...

I was crowded into One Touch by a former insurance company. As a matter of opinion only, I felt it was highly inconsistent - but can't prove it.

Just by the way, Freestyle has come out with a much cheaper test strip and meter. The reviews and package literature indicate it was very inconsistent. If you are interested in changing, be sure you go to Freestyle Lite.

I worry about facing Knotty later in the day. We are being decidedly unweird.
