Just finished reading the book "on the beach" 1957, Nevil Shute, remember now the lack of faith I had as a teen on mankind getting out of it's own destructive ways and means, and thinking about the recent events on the world stage...we really haven't come so far as some had hoped we would , still teetering on the eve of destruction. Maybe it is better to just go forth, numb to what;s going on about us in the greater scheme of things, just living our simple happy, unaware lives...not thinking about the real monsters lurking in silos, ships armories, and aircraft waiting to bring annihilation upon the flat earth we all inhabit...maybe I'm just another lunatic upon the path...
