So now, the town in which in live (Northampton MA) just issued an edict saying if you cannot maintain the 6' distance in shops or anywhere but the outside, then you must wear a face covering. The local newspaper didn't report it that way, but said if you were a customer then you must wear a mask.View attachment 880555
three months ago if I entered a store looking like this, the cops would surely have been called...today...folks freak out if you are not masked...silly cows lmao![]()
I went to the Stop&shop and there was a notice posted by the entry saying all customers must now wear face coverings, due to the city's edict, which didn't really say that as I said above.
I went in anyway, and though most people were covered up, probably 20% of us were not.
The city's edict said that people should not take it upon themselves to enforce it, meaning don't confront others without masks. But, with the panic that's been whipped up it's only a matter of time before the violence begins. I'm gonna get arrested or attacked.
I go cycling every day when the weather is ok. I think 30% of the cyclists and walkers are now wearing face coverings. Creepy.
There's no escaping it.
I especially now make it a point to nod or say Hi to anyone I meet up with who has a naked face. A naked body would be even better, but it's still too cold here, because of the global warming.
