Brass is soft and slowly disintegrates. The hana style enclosure is easily (for some) modified as was mentioned. A fatdaddyvapes 510 connector can be fitted in the box. For under $100 you can build one yourself. The enclosure (box), clone 30w power and charging chip, c&k buttons, a fdv connector, chip cradle can be purchased and assembled. Authentic evolv chips can be used for more money. Or you can buy a $40 version already assembled that has lower quality parts and hot glue instead of a chip cradle. Either way, a hana style box can be built or rebuilt. Good platform for DIY'ers.

The Focal Hana clone and Hana mini clones are manufactured by KGO or KSD.

Fasttech has offered the KSD but most of their Hana clones are manufactred by Hotcig.

I have a Cloupor V3 Hana clone that I will vouch for, and it can be found at a decent price at MBV (be sure to use the coupon) while the newest versions are available at elev8vape.

The Focal KSD models have been reviewed in other languages so it's hard to guage how they stack up--they're new to the American market. The Focal crowd here on ECF seemed to think highly of theirs when I asked. They seem to offer higher quality control than the Hotcig clones that are something of a lottery. The advantage of the Cloupor is slightly better build quality and "instant on" instead of the "wait-to-vape" feature where you have to click the fire button to boot up the chip after it goes to sleep.

Most of these clones don't play well with low resistances--you have to build north of 1.5 ohms. They also don't regulate as well when the battery is low or above 25 watts. If you want more reliability and range, I'd say spend a lot more on an ipv with a yihi chip.

I like the button on those new 35w Focal clones, but you'd be the guinea pig because no one has theirs yet.

I personally would roll the dice on the Focal KSD model--and I've been thinking about the mini. If the "wait to vape" doesn't bother you, give it a shot.

If you want to play it safe, I suggest the Cloupor as MBV and Elev8vape offer excellent customer service.

I'll second vikings vote on the cloupor. Bought mine the last day of June. Other than an occasional display lighting up while sleeping, not firing it just lights up, it's been flawless. Bought mine from a little vape shop in MS while vacationing.

I'd throw down for an IVP2s instead of the Sigeli. Up from there, I'd look at the SX Mini by Yihi and the new vaporshark DNA 40. Depends on how much you want to spend and what form factor floats your boat. I will say that the yihi or authentic DNA 40 is a substantial upgrade to anything you'll get in these hana clones.

The truth of the matter is that the tech is moving at lightspeed. You might be best off buying a discounted KSD/Cloupor standard/mini clone and then saving your cash until the reliability of some of the higher end box mods is proven, form factors improve and prices drop--basically wait out the hype. That way you have your clone as backup to your higher end device.

I basically sat tight during the battle of the clones and picked up my cloupor for $60 after the V3 improvements hit. Now I'm stashing cash for something better than what's currently available--maybe next spring? It sucks to be the guinea pig holding the lemon.

Keep your 510 connection meticulously clean and the ghosting goes away! Not a big deal in my opinion. I'm pretty happy with my Cloupor too.
