Defective Drop?

Heyy has anyone noticed on the Drop that it is VERY easy to twist for your airflow holes, I’m talking like no resistance at all? I’ve never had an rda with such ease I feel like it should be a little more resistant...or is this just how it’s suppose to be? Like the center cap is so lose that if I have to hold it down to pull the drip tip out. Thinking about ordering another one

It was tight but after you remove the center cap and then put it back in its loose. Have you tried that?

Have no reason to, they are tight for a reason.

I would just tho k for the sake of cleaning you would of removed it before. No biggie I mean it works just fine I just don’t know if it was suppose to be like this or not

I use a hot dawn bath and UC for cleaning. I just don't break down my rdas unless it can't be avoided. I can't think of a way to fix your Drop. I'm sure someone with more experience will come along to help.

Try the spare o ring. Or another one off something else. I change o rings on drip tips and airflow all the time till it meets my liking. And whatever you choose will loosen up some after it gets lubed with juice.

I lube my o-ring(s) as needed and seldom have any issues with them. So my Drop's AFC can be changed easy enough yet doesn't move on it's own. I did remove the base's bottom cap o-ring though on it (something I commonly do when 2 are provided to hold caps on that are not needed). It doesn't leak with just the top one installed, and I can pick up the mod by the cap without it moving at all. FWIW

Well my new Drop came in the mail yesterday...same thing, slightly tighter but pretty much still loose. It’s whatever, the thing works. I guess all the new batches are just loose

If you were local to me I’d pop some in the post for you. I have accumulated hundreds of o-rings over the years. Sadly, it would cost more in postage than to just buy some more for you. Email digiflavour and see what they say.

No need to snip, you can unhook them with a small screwdriver or tweezers.

I can barely turn my Drop's top to control air flow. It's so tight that when I try to turn it I have to make these loud grunting noises that sound like I am using the bathroom after Thanksgiving.

I did multiple times, Orings are still tight and i can't really twist the airflow without removing the cap lolz.

my AFC has just the right o-ring resistance , not lose ,,,,not tight ,,, just right.

I'm not familiar with this rda but it works for me on any rda rdta etc.
Take off o ring/s
Wrap the groove for o ring/s with dental floss (1 wrap is usually enough)
Replace o ring/s
