So those folks at vapor4life really know their business and it's been a pleasure to deal with them. We bought our first e-cig kit from a smoking store that did not stock cartos. It was so successful helping us deal with our holiday trip to visit non-smoking in-laws that we had rush shipped some extra cartos - they were on the porch when we arrived home. We only ordered tobacco cartos, but they tossed in a sampler pack of flavors. Very good idea.

Our next order was a bunch of flavors and a kit of two vapor Kings - since my husband and I are doing this together, we've noticed that we have somewhat different habits and needs and we'd like to sort of "share" less our gear. So we ordered two differently colored batteries with our kit - and they tossed in two extra packs of cartos AND an extra battery. Love these folks. They are smart and they will continue to get our business.

Anyway, my question is about the free battery - it is a Vapor King, but it is longer. Still automatic. What is it? Is it a longer life battery? I'm assuming they popped it in on the assumption that we'll like it so much we'll order more of them - and we very well may do that. But what makes it different than the shorter Vapor King battery?

I may be a vaping newbie - but I'm not an "ordering stuff online" newbie by any stretch and it's been rare that I've dealt with a company in any field that was this great. And they know their customers - get the stuff here fast and throw it a bit of extra so we'll try it and potentially order it in the future. Simple but effective. I am very impressed.

There are 3 sizes and each is about a cm longer than previous one -

shorty (150mah?)
standard (280mah)
xl (380mah)

The longer ones hold more charge (more mah == more hours of charge)

I believe the shorty and standard will fit in V4L's PCC charging case, and the case can charge an xl if you leave it open on a surface with the charger socket angled up.

I've been checking into V4L myself, ever since I got a PM from another ecf'er recommending their line. Good to hear their customer service is so great. I was finding it hard to discern what models their pv's are myself. I know I'm fairly new, but I'm so used to seeing, "510" "901" 0r "4081" They don't read like that on the V4L web site. Kinda hard to tell.
Thanks for the post.

I know, it's all so insanely confusing. Vapor kings (the model sold on the V4L site) are KR808d-1's - also the model we ended up buying first, in our case it was branded "Cig20"

The cartos they sell work with the vapor kings (obviously) and the Cig20's we bought originally. I have not swapped chargers around yet, so I can't speak to that.

A big recommend for the model and the vendor, or newies.

Did you get the starter kit that let you pick a 5 pack of carts? If so was that the sample pack you mentioned or in addition to that?

I just got my starter pack (ultimate ultimatum auto kit) & the invoice said enjoy the bonuses, but all I got was the 2 starter packs that I ordered seperatly & the 5 pack that came with the kit. There was a box for holding 5 carts but it was empty.

I read your post this morning & was looking forward to what they might of threw in. I was hoping it was a sample pack of other flavors because I ordered nothing but tobacco samples in the same 24mg dose. Mistake on my part I see now.

I've placed 5 orders so far and of the 4 I've gotten (one should arrive tomorrow) they've all had some goodies in them. My last order (just two batts) only had one free carto, but I'm not complaining. The fact they give any freebies is something you rarely see in any company.

If there aren't any give aways in my next package it really won't upset me. The fact their products are so amazing, and they truly seem to care about their customers is all that matters to me.

I called them when I need to add to my second order, they were able to add just in time before shipping.

I asked about the empty box & it was there to stop the A/C plug from shifting in the box, but they did say there should of been something free in there. They did tell me that use of one of thier bigger discount codes and/or a small order might mean less goodies, but still something usually.

Since this does sound like a V4L love fest I must chime in as well as they have done as much as anyone in helping me stay off of analogs after 30 years of smoking 2 PAD.

In the past couple of weeks (as a noob to vaping) I've gone overboard and ordered from a variety of companies. V4L has been the most consistent in quality, definitely tops in customer response and shipping time, and competitive in price.

I started my vaping adventure with V2cigs (KR808) and, though V2 has been subpar in delivery and customer response, I will remain forever grateful with them spending the money on advertising to get me interested and off of analogs.

But V4L has done a better job of keeping me off analogs. My personal favorites from V4L have been the espresso and, more recently, the clove sample (one of the freebies -- great way to get more business -- now it's gonna be a permanent flavor for me LOL). And they ship fast as they can... also great for us noobs that run the rabid fear of running outta juice!

Also, their 808 manual batteries, though shorter, seem to be outlasting my V2 manual battery and the button works better. Though the USB pass throughs are my favorite by far.

In return, I've been very comfortable recommending 3 people now to V4L (most recently one hour ago in a restaurant!). I'm confident that they will get good product and service without getting ripped off. All I need is my own personal coupon code for them so V4L can send me my commission in clove and espresso juices (just kidding!!).

The last thing our community needs is a noob getting bad product or service and thereby giving up on vaping before it has a chance to work. It's vendors like this that help us all.

P.S. Also a great honorable mention to FreedomSmokeUSA... another excellent, reliable vendor.
