Fairly new to this and I just was looking for any advice on what works best. I've tried carto's, clearo's. I haven't tried out any atomizers yet not real sure I understand them. heh- I guess my main question is what works best with the LEAST ammount of dry hits etc... I do like the clearomizers I've tried but sometimes it seems like theres no flavor. Thanks!

Direct dripping is always good flavor as long as you keep the coil wet. I use thick juice and so far the rba bottom coil from vaping zone or vapor ally I believe, work real good. I have a terminator, but i'm still modding it and its getting better and better each time I mod it. Check stormys vapor cellar for the terminator. Maybe try a kanger t3 if you don't vape 100% vg.

What makes a juice a thick juice?

VG is really viscous, its what thickens a liquid.

Dripping is going to be the most flavorful & you'll get no dry hits as long as you top it off accordingly. But this requires adding liquid every few vapes, so not the best for driving, out in public, etc.

Carto Tanks will keep your carto full and from going dry, won't dull the flavor as much as Clearos do.

Could also try rebuilding the clearomizer heads. I find they work much better with something other than silica, and the other fabrics (cotton, bamboo, hemp) seem to wick better so less chance of a dry hit.

Hi Asch. Welcome to the ECF. So there in lies the ultimate question. There are many good feed systems. There is a right one for you specifically. Actually you should try as many systems as you can stand. The cartos are a mainstay of many vapers. Clearomizers are also one of may folks all day devices. Some folks swear by dripping alone into an atomizer. Some folks swear that a genesis is the end-all be-all feed system. Some folks only use the vivi nova atomizer tanks........ It really depends on your personal likes/gripes.

If you are a tinkerer then you may enjoy wrapping your own coils and oxidizing mesh to build a wick. You may just want to fill up a cartomizer with 25 or so drops of liquid. Really it comes down to what you like and what you are willing to do to make the device work well for your own style of vaping. Its a big question , with an even bigger answer. I personally switch around quite frequently from carto(in tank) to Vivi Nova, to genesis atomizer, and sometimes even a standard dripping atomizer. It depends on what flavor Im vaping, and what other things are hapening at that moment and wether or not I feel like taking the time to savor that particular experience or if its a more grab and go type situation...... If you don't try them you may never know if you even enjoy them.

Silica is what wicks are normally made out of?

I plan to try different things. Been doing a lot of reading and watching videos etc... Want this to be as enjoyable for me as smoking was.

It sounds like you are off on the right foot. At least you are willing to put in the work. This can be a much more rewarding experience once you find that right spot for you. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
