Delrin Button

Just curious how manyreo users have permanently affixed the delrin button. I purchased one and am getting ready to attach it...

I use a dab of wax to secure mine, i frequently disassemble for cleaning so a permanent fixture would not be an option for me.

Yeah don't think I'd make it permanent. You will need to clean it from time to time. Cleaning under the cover isn't the easiest thing to do without removing the cover.

Thank you...I did wonder about cleaning. Still young reo. Took it apart just now and amazed at the simplicity. There is nothing to this animal!

Simple and hard to beat. I for one have never vaped anything that was this good. No boards just a battery, a trigger, a RM2 and juice. It just doesn't get better.

I used a piece of a baggie over the standard button, creates enough tension to hold very tight but still able to pull it off when needed.

Yeah, if you ever need to disassemble that would be an issue. It fits nice and tight so it shouldn't be a problem. If it does get loose over time you can use a small piece of floss draped over the button to tighten it up again.

I just pressed the button cover over the stock button and its a snug fit. Just jam it on hard after I got it and its snug as a bug....

I don't use anything to fix it to the button to the top and I've never had any problems with it coming lose or taking it off to clean. Very high quality, like all things Reo.

Here's a tip:
If you want to tweak the height of the button to taste, clip off a corner of a business card or two and then start clipping off small bits of the corner until it fits into the button top snugly. I use 3x stacked card corners to get the feel I like just right.
