Delrin is more durable than most other plastics but it won't be as durable as metal. Whether it'll hold up for your use I can't answer. I've got box mods made in a $2 AA box, 1 is 8 months old and I've never had an issue but I take care of them and use other mods when more durability is needed.

My suggestion is if it's going to be your main or only mod go for something more durable. If it's going to be a backup or something to use around the house or other places you can take care of it you might consider the lessor priced option.

Ok I've done some research as I never had heard of a mod made from Delrin. If you're talking about the Black Mantis, unless your getting it used imo there are better options for the same or less money. You can get the Silver Bullet for $4 more or several other 18650 metal tube mods for less. You could also get a Infinity Pro for just a little more which is variable volt or several plastic box mods that are vv for less, which is the option I'd personally take as I'm a vv guy. If you just like the plastic look you could get a Gold Rush or Gold Digger made from Acrylic for a lot less although they are out of stock right now and the Gold Digger is 5v regulated.
