If demand is so high, why not make more instead of letting people get ripped off in the classifieds imeo?

Supply v. Demand, innit guv? Imeo only makes a few (either by choice or because of time constraints) and the rest of us have to hurry up and wait. Don't want to wait? Fine - buy through Classifieds at inflated prices. It's what keeps the GG product line desirable.

But "ripped off"? Dude, no one is getting cheated here. :vapor:

I'm sure I read Imeo will be making more, along with all the other projects he's working on. Remember he's a one man operation so demand will always outweigh supply.

Where did you see a UFS for £250? That is a bit steep.

I used the figure loosely, but one has just been available in the classifieds in exchange for three iAttys (£70 a piece, equals £210). I mean, pleeeeese!
I don't buy the 'supply and demand' excuse Eddie. If demand is there, it seems silly not to fulfil it. I'm not talking about a one million run, but a few hundred for an estimated 3m worldwide vapers? The design is the hardest part, once that is done you can produce as many (within reason) as you like.
It is a rip-off when you have to pay 2x RRP to get one. No better than gouging.

Imeos trying to get the next batch of GGTS's & UFS's ready hes just done the Iatty's and hes working on the VV as well as SS TB's and god knows what else even getting them CNC'd off site he still has to check and prepare orders and supply worldwide which is no mean feat.
I know it sucks that there's not more available but id rather have it this way then just buy a generic product that's churned out in the 1000's and with things the way they are things are more innovative.
Imeo could go big but then its better to just churn out the one product than to change and introduce new ideas constantly which is not good for the GG as it would lose it identity

That's good UK. A lot of people will be glad to get one. Price gouging may be how it is done in the US (I like how ppl get funny when the price at the petrol pump is higher than it should be heh? lol) but as you well know UK, we don't do it like that over here. I only recently gave someone in the states a really good deal on a GGTS with AVSv2 plus clear 'arrywindow' and accessories. I thought vapers were a 'family', not in it exclusively for whatever we can get out of it?
I do know imeo is a one man operation, and I love his work. But as I said, the design and implementation is the hard part, not the production.

Yeah i know i missed yours when it came up :( and i know that price gouging is a problem but a fact we have to put up with i just got another SS fat a very reasonable price.
If i didn't have my second in for Gold plating you could have had that, still i think there maybe another full set up coming along shortly which if the price is right i'll jump on and if so the UFS is yours ;)

Oh, look here is a fellow that makes something nice for a great price and work himself way hard because he loves what he does.
Lets tell him to work harder because we can't wait and don't want to pay more.
Grow up, if you don't want to wait then pay what someone is asking and if you don't want to pay wait until he has a chance to make more.
What everyone knows about having things machined, about getting quality machine work being so easy is a bunch of BS. Imeo has very high quality standards and checks every part him self, I would rather wait or pay more than have that change.

What I like is for people to not tell someone else how they should run their business.
What I like is for people to not tell me how much I should pay for something I want.
What I like is for people to not tell me how much I should sell something for.

......But that's just me

I know that about your beliefs and you are correct, I wish people, especially the newbs/uninformed, would stop acting like Imeo has an obligation to make something for them, he has and always will do what he can..........the .....ing is getting old........:(

Imeo doesn't have an obligation to make them, but it is just a missed opportunity to make 500 of something that he knows will sell like hotcakes. I'm not a n00b, i've been vaping for two years and i'm probably more informed on vaping than 99% of people. I just don't like profiteering is all. There is no need for it.
Imeo's stuff is quality, I appreciate that. This is why I buy it. But there is no need for ppl to buy three of something with a view to selling them off at highly inflated prices. I buy GG to vape on it, not to rip-off someone who wasn't able to get one for themselves. I'm prepared to wait if there is a further run in the pipeline, i'm certainly not .....ing about getting it now.

I think you've all got the wrong end of the stick here folks.
Planet is not .....ing about Imeo more at the folks who try and sell the UFS at over inflated prices which to me is understandable, after all if i said i can you one of my SS GG's for $400 would you pay it? or my rev1 number 2 for $500.
No its the people who are not regulars to this section and do not take an active part just buy to sell that give most of us a bad name as people who like to rip others off.
I'll stand by my promise to you Planet just as i have promised my latest SS GGTS to a guy if he misses out on the next round
