I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I'm hoping someone might have experienced this same thing

You didn't hijack the thread at all. I'm learning from this conversation. Having the same problems. Sometimes it vapes wonderful and I think I've finally got it figured out. The all of a sudden the juice has dumped into my collector tank, running out the air holes and I've got greasy hands again??? Plus I may have screwed up yesterday. I was cleaning the UFS with Isopropyl Alcohol and had the plastic tank soaking in a container of alcohol. When I took the plastic tank out it was covered with a milk colored residue that I can't wipe off. Anyone have any ideas about how to clean this off? Don't want to scratch up the tank. Thanks all.

Yeah ata, I had already decided to order one from COV. I really wish I could just get this thing dialed in. There's been a couple of times that it seemed to be working flawlessly and it was really sweet at those times. But vaping has almost turned into a full time job and I don't like that. My UFS just dumped another tank of juice and it's dripping out the bottom all over my hands and my desk. I'm getting a bit frustrated. Think the thing for me to do is just put the UFS aside for a while and go back to my other tanks. Of course they can also be a PITA. Hell, maybe I'll just drip, hard to screw that up. Don't want to start throwing things, haha. Sometimes helps to just walk away and come back with a clear head.

Don't let it get you out of your happy place, We will figure it out. I'm glad I am not the only one experiencing this. My question to you is if you pull on it a few times does the liquid return to the tank? Mine does... I'm not sure why. Maybe Imeo has a thought regarding this.

Rick, if I had a clue I would post but the only I can think is the atomizer. I dont really know. I dont use UFS now because I do new experiments with Iatty and I also dont have one here. But I will go to make a new one in 1 week. But mine was working exellent every time. I used it for 3 months every time of the day

I ordered some new Atty's from Bruce, they will be here in a few days. I'm not completely sold that it is the attys, I think it might be "operator error" I just came across your instructions in English for the AVS system, I have been vaping with the CR completely open. When I would get a dry hit, I would open the liquid a bit more. I'm going to try a different approach, as It starts to get a dry hit, I'm going to close the CR a little more. So far it seems to be helping.

I think by vaping with the CR wide open, and only adjusting the juice (since I chain vape) I am opening the liquid control too far, and when I set it down and don't draw on it every few seconds, gravity takes over and it gradually drains into the CT.

So far so good Imeo! It hasn't done it yet today too me :)

The most reliable way I found to dial in the UFS was to start with the liquid closed, then open a fraction of a turn at a time. Each time I got a burnt taste, I took a few primer puffs with the air closed, and then opened the liquid another fraction. If I got flooding, I backed the liquid off a quarter turn and started again from there. If the tank flooded with the liquid open only a fraction I tightened the top cap fairly tight.

I semi feel like an idiot (I guess you can still say that word!) but I have been running the same joye LR510 since I got the thing as all I can do is guess when it comes to atty problems.:thumb:

I wish I could get my UFS working consistently with my Joye LR510s. I'm finding it much harder to hit that sweet spot with the LRs, and so the most I have got from them is about 3 days before the vapor drops off and I have to replace the atty. :(

I know with the AVS atties make all the difference. Some just don't screw on properly. I like to save money but the cheap atties I tried to use were a waste of money. I have had to screw them on an old battery from my old ecig with pliers then take them off and use them in my AVS. You can tell if they don't screw on smoothly.

When I get a dry hit I open-close 2 times the cap so atty gets refilled imediately. Then I open a little the liquid control ring. I do this because I dont want to open the liquid control ring and wait for the atty to get refilled after 4-5 inhales. The way I do it gives me the advantage to always have a nice taste and to find quickly the best spot.

Maybe atty doesnt need a replacement but just a good blow ecf. Then you put it again inside UFS:)

This is what I do and it works great. My liquid control ring is only open about one third of the way.
