Thanks to everyone for all the tips. Just as a followup to previous posts yesterday was a good UFS day. Vaped great all day. And when it's right this thing is really, really sweet. What baffles me though is that everything was the same. Same atty, same juice, same procedure??? This is the way I have been doing it per tips received from others and from reading & watching videos:
1) Screw in atty snug with juice control open a little
2) after atty is in then close juice control completely to seal
3) open air control all the way
4) fill tank about half full with juice (I only fill partially since I've had several juice dumps & half tank dumps are easier to clean up, haha)
5) after filling close air control completely and open juice control 1/8 of a turn before screwing on cover and mouth piece (I've been told not to make any adjustments to juice control or air control without first removing cover & mouth piece as this could cause o rings to unseal?)

Anybody see any errors in the way I'm doing it? Since this UFS was used when I bought it I was thinking that maybe I needed a new set of o rings. But I see no obvious flaws in the o rings I have and COV doesn't have any in stock right now. I'm still learning and anxiously awaiting the Iatty so I can learn some more.

I don't know about opening the juice before the top cap is on with the top cap o-ring seated properly around the atomiser extension. I might be wrong, but that sounds like a recipe for flooding the overflow tank air intakes. After filling, I usually screw the top cap on, and then screw the mouthpiece down firmly to settle the o-ring and then loosen the mouthpiece so it's just finger tight, then open the juice control a 3/4 turn and if it's a new atomiser, give the old girl a primer draw or two with the air control shut, then open the air control a 1/2 turn, and vape away - tuning as needed afterwards.

I know I could find a good loving home for my AVS. It is the first model. I also have the AFS. I just get attached to my GG items and don't want to part with them. My most prized possession is my GGT Storm #1. GGs are made with pride by Imeo's loving hands and I just can't let them go.:wub::wub:

I totally understand. Just thought I would give it a shot!

I placed an o-ring between the top and the part that the mouth piece threads onto it. It made a significant difference in the juice flow to the atty as it seals better. It was flooding sr510 @3.7v atomizers and this stopped it. However, I was having to open fully to feed a sr510 @6v and even take some primary pulls to keep the atty wet. Pulled that extra o-ring I put on and it only takes about a 1/2 to turn now to feed it. Just something to try. It increased the seal for my UFS. If I need more flow, I take it off. YMMV

=smitty727;3339074]I really wish I could just get this thing dialed in. There's been a couple of times that it seemed to be working flawlessly and it was really sweet at those times. But vaping has almost turned into a full time job and I don't like that.

I have had the UFS for a good few weeks now, and I`m exactly the same dude !! I fill up as the vids suggest, but I just can`t get it to stay at that "sweet spot" for more than a few draws, it either tastes burnt, or when I open the juice just a fraction more, it floods, resulting in a mouthful of juice. I just wish I could get it stay at that magic spot.

Yeah U, but that sweet spot sure is addictive. It's kind of like golf. I've swore so many times that I would never play golf again and then I hit a good shot and I'm hooked again. About the same with the GGTS/UFS combo. When I get it right it's the best vape I've ever experienced - great taste, throat hit & vapor. And what really pisses me off is that I know I am the problem. One thing though is that the more I experiment the more I believe good attys are key.

All of our feeding systems are the same. We pick our own juice some is thinner some thicker. Not all atties in the same box are exactly the same. Cheap atties are like putting cheap parts on your new car and wondering what the problem is.

U_couple, when you feel a burn taste, open the liquid control a little and open-close 2 times the refilling cap so you will have the amount of liquid you need inside atomizer imediately. But now that you opened the liquid control, more liquid will come inside the atomizer while you vape the liquid that came inside atty from the open-close procedure

Guys, I had very similar issues when I first got my UFS. I use VERY thick VG juice and run with 1.5 ohm atties, so I (incorrectly) assumed I needed to start with the juice and air wide open. BIG mistake, I should have been doing the exact opposite. I experienced many of the same issues detailed here. This threw off the pressurization of the tank.

1) was not getting enough juice to the atty, would constantly need to unscrew/screw the top cap to feed the atty.

2) would occasionally have the juice in the primary tank dump into the collector tank if left sitting. Oddly enough, sometimes I could suck the liquid back into the primary tank after some time spent doing some (labored) pulls.

3) because of #2 my primary tank juice would mix with partially vaporized juice and the quality of taste would deteriorate over time.

I was able to resolve the issues using what seemed to me to be extremely illogical settings.

Try this:

1) start with your air and juice controls completely closed.

2) open your juice VERY little.

3) open your air VERY little (this is most important, when I say very little, I mean just barely untighten it from completely sealed).

4) adjust juice first, then air to find your perfect draw/flow rate for your juice.

Random observations and thoughts:

1) I use extremely thick 100% VG juice, the consistency of honey. My air control is almost completely closed, my juice is also barely open. I run at 3.7v and a 1.5 ohm LR atty and I NEVER get dry hits...ever. Seems illogical, but it works.

2) think of the relationship of the juice and air controls this way. The more you open your air control, the more air will replace liquid in your draw. The tighter closed your air control, the more juice will be fed to your atty instead of air.

3) one thing lacking from most posts here is what atty and juice everyone is using. Remember, we all have the identical UFSs, the variables that come into play are our juice consistency, our atties and what type of wattage we run at. This is why the system needs to be so adjustable. I am going to post exactly what I am currently using as my settings are a direct reflection of what MY variables are, hopefully this provides some additional value.

Atty: Cisco 1.5 ohm LR510 (w/ AW IMR 18650)
Juice: Vaporstation VG Frisco
