Other than twisted420, I cant think of another time I have seen a black person vaping. Its a bit odd, my favorite vape shop is right smack in the middle of a predominantly black community. The majority of vapers I run into are usually younger white males, most with an excessive amount of visible piercings and tattoos. But I also see plenty of older vapers, as well as women, just not as many. The vaping culture seems to be mostly white, followed by Asian.

That's probably just in your area, in the DC Metro area (which includes MD, Northern VA and as far out as the Eastern Panhandle of WV) you'll see plenty of Blacks Vaping (me for another) It does seem strange that you don't see more considering it's location you explain. While I agree with the majorities you've stated, I also see it becoming more popular across all ages; male and female. I myself am 46 and every time I'm in the local B&M I see the crowd becoming older and older.

I live in the West Virginia panhandle next to Maryland and Virginia. I rarely see any vapors in this area and never any women vaping in public. However I have met women who vape. My point is that what we see in public or on this forum is not representative of the people who vape. I suspect that from what I see and read on this forum that young males are much more likely to be the ones who are vaping in public.

For myself I am 70 and never had any qualms about vaping in public. In fact I welcome any comments or any opportunity to talk to people about vaping.

I've seen some survey results regarding demographics over the years...

The vast majority of us are white.
And a large percentage of us are lower income.

As far as age goes, it used to be that we were mostly well-aged like a fine wine.
But the younger crowd is quickly catching up.

I wish I could find some of those survey results, but my Google isn't working very well right now for some reason.

I am of the "older" group, being 67 years young.
I hang out at a local vape shop for several hours per day about three days a week. Most everyone else who hangs out at this shop are young.
The ages of customers range from late teens(they do check id's at this shop) to people in their 70's and more.
Close to the same ratio of male vs female.
Seems to be all income ranges.
Nearly all are white. This bothers me, because as others have stated everyone can benefit from switching to vaping.

It seems most of the people who are getting into the RBA's, RDA's and mechanical mods are the younger ones in my area. I am the exception, as all I use now are RBA, RDA and mechanical mods. Maybe some people are buying these items online and not the local shops?

My local shop sells a lot of starter kits, juice, replacement coils, etc. They also carry and sell some RBA's, RDA's and mods(both regulated and mechanical).
