We can still legally sell electronic cigarettes, cigars and pipes from other European countries, and Danes aren’t forbidden from buying them over the Internet for their own use
dont understand the first part of that quote. can a seller in denmark still sell them online from denmark?..still this ban is un-enforceable. perhaps if sellers can still sell their products online, it will mean a tidy profit for them. notice how it was reccomended by the danish medicines agency...hummm, I wonder what their motive was. (no i dont)

DC: Sellers cannot sell cartridges and liquid from danish online shops. U2Lifestyle is selling from Slovenia. Another danish online dealer, nycigaret.dk, is contemplating selling his e-cigs from Denmark, but shipping the carts and liquid from Greece.
Marketing directed towards Danes is also illegal, which would explain why U2Lifestyles website was converted to english a couple of weeks ago :)

From the piece:
The days of the smokeless cigarette may be coming to an end in Denmark because they have been found to contain an unapproved form of nicotine.

What do they mean by "form" of nicotine? Do they simply mean the way it is delivered (through carts/liquid) or do they mean literally a different formulation of the actual substance itself?

Seems to me the former is totally unimportant, but the latter potentially somewhat important if the suggestion is that different formulations have (fundamentally) different effects on humans.

Basically, are all nicotines created equal?

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there madog

He not only hit the nail, he drove it all the way down.

It's all about the money. Once they have the authority to tax e-cigs, the supplies will be inexhaustible. And then, what about our health? They won't give a s**t.

Better hide & disguise your e-ciggies. The e-cig Nazis may snatch em up at the border.

Thats something I didn't even think about...traveling with my ecig to places where its banned. Is there a list somewhere on here that says where its legal and where its banned? Also, I need to make a friend where its legal, if you want to make money off me after the US bans these, I'll be your bestfriend if you send me my stock. lol

If it is anything like what I learned from Tobacco Free Kids the other day, the only "approved" form of nicotine should in fact be: Cigarettes or NRT's that have been FDA approved as smoking cessation devices. (Now this is in relation to the US.) But seeing as this is how culture here is moving towards a nicotine free society, that would be my guess there... and that's just a guess.

We kept asking them why everything with nicotine in it has to be proven a "quitting" device expecting some answer like "Everyone should quit smoking", but oddly they skirted around the answer and wouldn't answer. Our assumption: They desperately need to change their name from Tobacco Free Kids to Nicotine Free Kids (which is fine! they should! Nicotine is addictive... and now that we don't have to use tobacco products anymore, it seems reasonable.)

Caffeine is too- it is a drug and can kill you- they are both found in nature- why is caffeine ok to be addicted to but not nicotine? (not arguing with you, just wonder where the logic is....)
With obesity rising and taking the place of cancer as the number one killer- seems people who care about kids so much need to ban FOOD. lol
I'm starting the Food free kids organization. nods.

There is no logic and that is the problem. Nicotine has been demonized when it should really be the burning tobacco. Until the spawn of the ecig, it was second hand smoke this and second hand smoke that. Over the past three months it has become an assault on the action of smoking and the nicotine.

I personally believe that caffeine should be restricted to adult usage only. Many of the attention deficit problems in children would be solved, not to mention some of our obesity issues. Yep. Empty calories in sodas lead to bad nutritional diets which leads to obesity.

No lists that I know of, but there is an e-cig travel group in this forum. check it from time to time.
