So I got my Deoxit gold pen in the vape mail today, I used to get 4-5 good pulls off of one squonk and a fresh battery now I am burning through juice like a madman. This stuff makes the Reo hit like a freight train. I really need that KGD cotton to get here quick because this Walgreen's org. cotton is getting burnt up if I don't pay attention to how many puffs I have taken. This stuff is so worth it, gotta grab me another pen soon. Another +1 interwebs for SuperX. Thanks brother!

Why would you need another pen? The pen should last years used the way we use it.
Can I buy that stuff in a store or is the only option amazon? And how the hack do I use it? just a small dab on the fire pin and on the spring?
A little on each end of your batteries too. Let them sit a bit, then wipe off excess. I cleaned mine with alcohol before applying the Deoxit. This is what I was instructed to do from the local gurus. Seems to be working well.
It was available on Amazon but when I ordered it, it said only 1 left in stock. And yeah I probably don't need another one, but that's like saying I probably don't need another Reo.
Yeah, it's that good. It's ridiculous I have been squonking like a madman even flooding my RM4 just to get maybe 5 pulls instead of 3-4 . And all I did was put a little bit on the spring, battery contact and the battery itself. I'll have to rewick tomorrow I kind of burnt up the cotton I had in it. And probably build some higher resistance coils, but I am so glad I got it. One of the best vape purchases I have made since I started.
As far as what it's like the only thing I can compare it to is an oil marker for pipe/plate welding material you press it in a few time to get the "juice" flowing and then just run the pen over your contacts/battery and hold on to your horses. I usually can fill my bottle once a night and never look back but I have filled mine twice so far since I got it at about 3pm.
In gamer terms, this stuff is stoopid, in the best way possible. Going to the vape summit in Houston this weekend and am going to give the Reo a full cleaning ala SuperX's vid and use this stuff, even with 65/35 PG/VG it's like I am vaping 30/70 PG/VG.

I found a 2ml tube on amazon for 8.79. It appears to be the same stuff just in a smaller container and maybe not as easy to apply as then pen.
at 1/3 the price of the pen it may be worth a try. And, if the 6 ml pen will last a lifetime, the 2ml tube should last plenty long, right?

I would try that too, I am thinking put a little on a q-tip and apply. You may have to clean off a little more excess than the pen but maybe SuperX can weigh in on that, I am fairly new too all of this.
I'm sure it is. It reads the same as my pen.
For what its worth, I bought the Deoxit Gold because it was available in a felt pen. Rather than mess around with another tube applicator, I'd have just kept using the Noalox. It works fine too. Just.......kinda messy. Of course, if you don't already have Noalox.......
Most folks seem to think Deoxit is better.
SuperX said he does it about once a month, when I have mine on there for that long will post to that.

I do a three steps
Clean with Iso alcohol w/ qtip
clean with deoxit "power" booster (thanks FB) , using q-tip...
apply deoxit gold with pen.
done.
May be a little overkill, but it works beautifully and doesnt take long.
For the batteries, I use a white eraser first, to rub off oxidation from the pos/neg contact, then follow the above steps (thanks superX)...that reminds me, I need to do that tomorrow... I do this about once a month.

Got the booster as well, I need to get an eraser though. Having said that I didn't use the booster this evening was running short on time so I just penned the contacts. Before my shipment got here I watched his cleaning vid and did just what he did.
I wasn't led astray with the coil gizmo so no reason to deviate from the advice.
Edit: Damn just got another burnt hit because I didn't squonk it like it owed me money. This stuff is the bomb.

I got this. It's the right stuff. It's a tiny little tube, but I can tell it'll last for a long, long time.
Yeah thanks for linking this Eagle, am going to grab a tube for a back up for sure. Wiping off some excess isn't a big deal. I am completely sold on Deoxit.
