So what exactly does this stuff do? I'm a new Reo owner and so far, I'm shocked by the amount of juice it's eating. Would this stuff help that or is this mainly for keeping your contacts clean?

From my experience, it will make it "eat juice" faster. It's like taking your Reo and giving it an energy drink, but the vape is amazing.

Normal varies from one vaper to another. I generally only vape about 4 or 5 ml per day, 24mg nic, running a 1.8 ohm single coil in an RM2, but usually when I hit it, I take 3 or 4 huge vapes off it before I exhale. Coil resistance, juice nic content, atty, batteries, vaping style. They all come into play. If you're happy, don't sweat it :)

I have the 2ml tube and use it on my Reo and other PV's, flashlights, remote controls and all my battery powered stuff. I use it on all my batteries and even my i4 Nitecore charger contacts. It really makes a difference on a neglected flashlight.

Oh.. the Deoxit Gold bonds with the metal to decrease electrical resistance. The Deoxit Red is for cleaning already oxidized contacts from neglect.

Hmm. I have a provari with a kayfun and one fill lasts me 1.5 days. My new (used) Reo- I'm filling the 3ml bottle 3 or 4 times a day. Is this normal? sorry for hijacking your thread!

No worries, like Ancient said it varies from vaper to vaper but it sounds like you use about as much liquid as I do. I usually fill the larger bottle (6ml I think) about twice a day once in awhile three times but never finish the third.

I've got some of this en route - mostly cuz I needed to hit $35 on Amazon to ship something else free...:)

Question is - will it make a difference for me?? I'm not running real low resistance (usually in the 0.7 to 1.0 range), I've never seen a spark/arc, and while I've cleaned the ends of my batteries, they didn't need it - there was nothing there...

I would think so, not matter what build you're running the cleaner your contacts are and the better their conductivity is it will just make it perform that much better.

Thanks dima that looks like a good deal, if I need another will go there.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I feel like Noalox does a much better job of increasing conductivity. It's definitely messier but much more of a "boost" in my opinion than Deoxit.

Noalox is pretty much just grease with some zinc in it that makes it conductive and a little messy. Probably works no better than other types of grease but, hey it's really cheap and a lot can be said for that. I've used it but like the dry film like Deoxit on small contacts and think it lasts longer between applications, maybe because it penetrates the metal better?

Noalox, Penetrox, and Ox-gard are really more intended for larger electrical connections like junction boxes, but any of those will work fine on our Reos and batteries if there's not already corrosion present. There all better than nothing.
