The same as a single coil, but there are two of them. Counter-intuitively, two coils means more wire and less resistance, so you need to increase the number of wraps on each one.

single coil - 6 wraps of 28g - 1 ohm total resistance
dual coil - 12 wraps of 28g - 1 ohm total resistance

If you are referring to how you physically build the deck you will need to specify what RDA you are using.

It's in the title: The Derringer. It's a small atty but still relatively simple to build a dual setup on. We really need the OP to say what exactly she's having trouble with when putting it together.

That will fire down to a 0.4 ohm resistance so you SHOULD be ok with both the prebuilt coils. My Tobeco clone didnt come with any coils (or even a dang drip tip) but all the attys I do have look like they always use something like 32 gauge wire for them which has a really high resistance as it is. Can you post a pic of the deck with the coils in it? Maybe we can figure out whats wrong.

It sounds like you do not have an ohm meter. This is a must. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that you bought a Derringer clone which often comes with 0.5 ohm coils. Two of those is going to put you below your minimum resistance for the K-Box. I don't mean to sound condescending, but I think you should stick with the one coil until you have done some more reading and research into RDAs.

Yeah I take back what I said about prebuilt coils! My Samurai clone showed up today and me being lazy stuck one of the prebuilt coils in it. They were like 7 or 8 wraps or so of what appears to be like 24 gauge about 2mm. Just one of those suckers and I'm at 0.5 ohms. I was kinda shocked at how low they are but I guess they're shooting for the mech crowd..
