My only build on it so far, but it works for me. 26 dont remember the diam but I think its about 2.5, ohms at .3 or so. I run it with one hole open right in front of it and half a hole off to the left side for some turbulence. Yes, seriously awesome warm wet flavor and the clouds are as big as anything else Iv got. Its seems to be married to my 4nine, nice little hitter.

I get 15 drops in it, which lasts about 4-5 big hits.

I have a dumb question. How much juice do you drip in? I find myself hitting it until it's dry and burning. I guess I spent too much time with tanks. Any tips on avoiding that?

I put about 10-12 drips in mine. Lasts for about 5-7 nice and big vapes or so. Come to think of it, Ive never actually counted. When I get that first 'here comes a dry hit' hot feeling I just redrip and keep chain vaping away.

Find a quite place. Now, listen to your dripper`s "action". You should notice It will start to run quite when its running out of juice, and real low ohm builds will make a flushing/whooshing sound. Then usually they`ll become a bit hotter (if its not a really hot vape to begin with. That`s when I re-drip. Iv learned to pick up on these signals long before getting a dry hit.

You can drip until the juice wells are full. I just recommend vaping it dry before you pocket or tilt it.

Thanks for the replies on drips. I guess a corollary to this is that I am using cotton wicks and I guess I burn them (every cotton wick I've ever used, on this and a russian 91 is burnt through inside the coil) and they stop working. I do a wick replacement just about every day. Is that normal or is my dry burning causing this?

Not normal. I rewick every 1-3 days. But no burn through.

Wow, just hit a new flavor level yesterday with a derringer build. It took me a while to find a build that matched the flavor density I can get with the A6. The much bigger size of the derringer needed a bigger build. I was happy with 3 spaced wraps of 24 gauge, 3mm ID. I got the same flavor density with a much higher volume (2 airholes open per side).

I got some new wire in on Friday. I went with 23 gauge, 3.2 mm ID, 3 spaced wraps. I accidently wrapped them in reverse. I have done this on purpose before with the derringer. So, rather than rewrapping one of them, I mounted them cyclone style (using only two posts, mirrored). This is the first build where I have used all 6 air holes open. Just, wow! Flavor saturation is completely amazing. I run a low V-drop mech. As the batter drains, it can get a little spitty.

I'm finding that single coils work best in the Derringer. Running 26G 2.5mm 8 wraps 0.85 ohms, lots of vapor but Im' finding that I need the heat that a low resistance build gives me to be really satisfying.
I found using Kanthal 26 ga. that the best single coil build I had in the Derringer was a 6 wrap coil on 2.5mm. It read .57 ohms. Might be a little too warm for some people though?
