Totally off-topic, but since Canada is a bilingual country and French being one of the Official language, wouldn't it be possible to post in both languages and have a bilingual Canadian mod affected to our national Sub-forums?

Maybe if the entire forum was for Canadians we would be able to speak both languages but English is just the easiest and most wide-spread language to have as the forum's way of communication, IMO.

Even though I don't agree with it, I understand and respect the reason behind this rule and will apply it until it changes (if it ever does).
I'll keep an eye out for Montréal and subsequent Québec VapeMeet (I did write them with 'é' on purpose. That's only to show my protest!

Yesterday when I saw the first few posts of this thread I wondered as well why this Canadian forum would be in english only while Canada was a bilingual country, but with the explanation given - about the mods having problems regulating french posts - is fair and pertinent.
What I think is that once we have one french-speaking veteran on the forum he should be invited to become a mod in the Canadian sub-forum so that everyone would feel equal in their rights.
My 2 Quebecer nickels (yeah because the one-cent coins will soon be abolished!)

Yeah, the martini bar there is absolutely gorgeous, that would be an epic place to have a meet. Though, alas, I once worked for Fairmont Hotels and IMO a vape meet at one of their hotels is nothing more than a dream...

Who says so? Infiltrate that dead forum and breathe some Quebec "je ne sais quoi" into it.
Acadians welcome too. 
There's actually a Quebec Vapers group here on ECF - which hasn't been seeing much action unfortunately but it could be a good alternative.
