The perfect PV would be much like the perfect mistress. Good looking, sleek and lasts as long as you need. It would also be flexible and adaptive , and smart enough to fulfill your every want and need without being asked or told.

There's no such thing as the perfect mistress oldsoldier. There never was and there never will be.

Pretty much the same for the prefect e-cig. But we can dream :)

Yeah but look how far we've gotten, 100 years ago we had Typewriters and Horse-drawn carriages now we have tiny little cars that are powered by the sun and these pieces of glass we hold in our hands that do everything for us.
I'm sure someday, someday we will finally have the perfect E-Cig but when?, That's like asking the owl how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. "The world may never know"

1. Fits easily in pocket.

2. Battery lasts at least a week between charges. A radio isotope power source like found on Rover Curiosity would be nice.

3. Water-based nicotine/air injection, not atomizer (fuel injection is better than carburetion).

4. All stainless steel construction.

5. Built-in smart phone w/Bluetooth.

6. Costs less than $100.

Wouldn't stainless steel be pretty heavy?.
I'd suggest titanium or aluminum instead for their durable and lightweight properties.

i think titanium is probably a nonstarter for a low cost mod because the difficulty in machining it places additional costs into the manufacture. People with the machinery and skillset to work in titanium are a little harder to find than folks that can mill aluminum.

Nah, a pocket-sized stainless steel APV wouldn't be too heavy. My APV is stainless steel and plated red brass which would weigh about as much. Titanium is lighter in weight but harder to work than stainless steel, otherwise a great choice. Aluminum is way too soft to look good for long.

Yes BUT we're talking in the future, In the future there will probably be machines that can mill titanium much more easily.

It would be the size of a cigarette, the battery would last a week, would recharge via a http://www.mechanicalengineeringblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/02-powermat-iphone-4-wireless-battery-charger-wireless-charging-mat-wireless-receiver-case-new-w.jpg style charger, two buttons to control voltage, device would activate on inhalation, no parts to unscrew/twist off, and would come with next generation liquids that burn slower and last longer :).

This.

Analog size, battery that lasts 10 hrs, VV.

Coupla years, I bet.

I still thing a HA-III Hard Coat anodized aluminium would be strong and last long.
And raw Ti would be AMAZINGLY strong and durable.

My thoughts exactly. 100 years from now imagine what will exist! It's just a matter of technology catching up with our desires and people continuing to innovate.

Never heard of it.

check out part one of pbusardos vapercon2 video, it's a titanium body, mother of pearl button, and all mechanical...they also come in different sizes for different batteries, and have one of the coolest display boxes I've ever seen.
