It's simple. Instead of seeking advice from others, follow your OWN heart.

1000 people will parrot "Provari" despite the fact that it is utterly defeated by the, also American made, Variable Wattage "Stallion" from Texas Select Vapor for less money (as evidenced also by the fact that it's sold out so quickly) or the Smoktech VV Gripper which does the same thing for 1/3rd the price and has a more durable finish but less accurate voltage output at low voltage. The box mod style may also be unattractive to some. The choice is yours in which you think is best for you.

Follow your own heart. What works for you, WORKS FOR YOU. Whatever keeps you off of analogs is win. I vape eGo-C Twists. It works for me. I choose NOT to throw money at a bad habit, an addiction, like other people do. Does that work for you? I don't know. I have no clue how deep your addiction goes. That is for you to decide. I, however, will not be convinced that bad habits are worth sacrificing as much as the price of a Provari which is only durable variable voltage. VW is the way of the future. Why do maths when you don't have to?

I am pretty new around here but been lurking for a while... you write and express your thoughts and opinions very well .. many of which I agree with ... but your provari bias is painfully obvious and to be frank a bit disingenuous and reckless. I work in an industry with tools costing 100 times more than anything a vaping device could even hope to cost. It also has tools costing significantly less. When I purchase the tools I need to work.. they are made based on performance, aesthetics and perceived value to cost ratio. Since those factors can only be measured subjectively (numbers/stats and where it was manufactured and/or designed )..have very little bearing on how it performs for me..Nor does the consensus on a message board. There are plenty of people on this board who make purchases based the same way...on perceived and/or experienced value..period. Not trying to sound arrogant here but there is not a mod made that I cannot afford and frankly I could care less what you or anyone else is using to vape..or why (and it doesn't appear the OP does either). As long as we are all off the analogs (Ironically, a term I am very familiar with in my line of work and its connotation could not be more different).. it doesn't matter what the tool is, how much it cost, or how vocal its fan base. But to be honest, normally when the experienced masses overwhelmingly extol the attributes of a certain product there is a reason..

I get the "don't follow the masses/sheeple sentiment" more than you know.. it just bugs me when people attempt to be "stealthy" with their agenda and bias by couching it as advice to "newbies".. and then show up in a thread where the OP hasn't mentioned anything about any particular brands and for that matter did not appear to be looking for a lecture on the hows and whys to purchase a PV.. I thought it was about opinions on the perfect P.V.

Maybe I missed something...maybe I didn't.. just not digging the "50,000 ft" condescension mode..

sorry for the O.T. - Ill go back to my hole now

My perfect ecig wouldn't need a variable voltage because it would memorize all the voltages I like with each individual flavor (impossible, I know). It would also look and feel like a real cigarette but have the battery life of a 1200 mah battery (again, impossible). That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Oh wait, and it would be pink. Bright pink.

I didn't read the whole thread so if this has been said before.. sorry

my dream e cig... light, thin, pretty, charges the battery via heat from my hand or lips - auto fills with whatever flavor I'm craving - no clogging, cracking, chipping and has a mouth piece that doesn't feel hard on my teeth - and button free - automatic battery.
oh oh.. and has that clap on clap off feature with LED's for when I lay it down and lose it

no.lol...it's expensive....it's akin to a GG in form, flash, design, and of course price.

It is available now from ENS, but $100 would be a nice down payment. Those 24k Gold ends do seem to be expensive.

It looks even nicer than it does in the picture. BTW that script "T" is the vent.

Think every lady deserves a little 10440 Themis10.
It's about the same size as my index finger. It would be perfect for a night out on the town.

I've tried a number of different products:
Vapage VMOD - a bottom feeder that I really liked a lot until I couldn't get it to stop leaking
Mini-Nova from Vapor 9 - a Provari knock-off which I thought was too big and clunky and also leaked profusely
Joyetech eGo T - which I like a lot still use on a regular basis

I am still a sucker for my KR808 batteries from Vapor4Life with blank cartos from Vapor Kings and my assortment of e-juices. Works best for me!

I do think the Ovale elips looks kind of cool and sexy and I will probably give it a try at some point....

OK the perfect PV would be:
The juice would refill itself when it went dry. The supply would be unending.
There would be no need for cleaning.
The battery would never die or drain down.
You could change flavors and nic amount with the touch of a button.

A guy is on the beach and he is a True Vape Fiend. He finds a oil lamp on the beach and picks it up to clean it and a Gennie pops out and says you have 3 wishes. The Vape fiend ask for the above mentioned PV and poof. He gets one in his hand. The perfect juice and the perfect vaping experience. The Gennie asks what would you like for your other Two wishes. The Vape Fiend says " Two more of these". LOL

But for now I've got a good one. I have a Provari with a Vivi Nova 2.5 on top. A twist with a Vivi Nova mini knock off on it. A passthrough with a CE 5 Repairable Clearo on it and real Vivi nova mini on order. I'm satisfied with them. Beats those damn Carto's. I'm done with them and regular tanks unless they come up with some better ones. I may buy a rebuildable.

    A perfect e-cig would have

    1) Consistent voltage from fully charged until the battery needs recharging.
    2) Doesn't break when dropped
    3) Has a voltage and watt readout display
    4) Lifetime warranty
    5) Tanks that don't crack with juices
    6) Wicks that don't clog
    7) No dry burns
    8) Heads that last
    9) Safety feature on a battery charger that will not allow a battery to explode
