Ok i know this is an impossible list of questions. but i'm gonna post this in case it strikes a cord with someone.
not liking VG much seems to put me in the minority, but surely theres someone else out there.

I've been vaping for about 6 months give or take. and like most on here it took awhile to get the hardware thing right.
now i need help with juice.

unlike hardware, juice is a much more individual thing, what tastes great to one, tastes like crap to another (sometimes)
I'm looking for advice and or comments from other Vapers that have common tastes that i do.

1. first off I've never had 100% PG juice (that i know of), allot of the vendors wont tell you the ratio. (trade secret?) but i know i
hate VG. I find 50/50 nauseating. There not shy about telling you when it's 50/50 but (PG based) juices when you ask what
ratio exactly? sorry our secret.....

2. oddly enough even though i was a very heavy smoker and loved non filtered pall malls and such, i don't like many tobacco
flavored e-liquids, most of them don't appeal to me.(but i do like some IE: Dulcis)

3. 90% of the juice I've bough i have not liked. but hard to justify buying more when you got a shelf full. I'm just about out now. (some i gave away)

4. I love Dulcis and grape soda, and many more from the Vapor Talk Store, but they only sell 10ml bottles and there not
reliable. I've had a $70 order from them on back order for almost 2 months now. (I've been vaping crap for almost 2 months)

5. what is the PG/VG ratio of those juices I don't know and he aint saying, and I'm tired of spending money on juices that I end
up hating. so if your familiar with the juices above. maybe you can help.

6. i tend to float around 24mg and I'm mostly a dripper so far, 10ml lasts almost a week. I've been using 1.8ohm 306's at 3.7
volts

I've been out of good juice for almost 2 months. and I need to diversify my supplier portfolio.

So if the above sounds like you, or very similar, and your familiar with those juices i mentioned above. maybe our palates are sufficiently alike. maybe that you can tell me

1. what is you favorite

2. what guestimate PG/VG ratio was i vaping? I'm thinking 90/10? 80/20? Hell if I know...... but I'm guessing pretty hight PG

3. need an alternative juice source that's reliable and has a ratio I'm likely to enjoy given the above listed likes and dislikes.

or can someone point me to a e-juice flavor reviewer who hates VG, and thick guwi sweet juices?
I don't care about tons of vapor, i do care about good taste, and nicotine. and throat hit.
and not having a e-juice that tastes like medicine and is thick and sticky enough that I can also use it to glue wall paper

I know I'm probably ranting by now but I'm so damn frustrated. I finally found juice I like and now I can't have it. (reliably)
it took me 3 months to find what i liked.

and hopefully as I have been helped in the past by a question answered for another. someone will read this and it will help them too.

Is there anybody out there?................"Pink Floyd"

Boy oh boy Dogman, sounds like you are really picky and that is a problem in the vaping world, I don't think it's so easy to find that ''sweet spot'' where everything is perfect, this vaping thing is still in the infancy years and will probably take a while for vendors to get eliquid right, I don't mean to criticize you, but I guess I did, sorry.

Having said all that, I don't vape VG based liquids anymore not because I don't like vg but because it doesn't hit the spot for me and you will find that you are not really in the minority for not liking vg.
Early on someone suggested Joogler Juice to me, I tried a few different flavors and really like their Clint vaperwood, their juices are high on PG and you can ask to mix in extra flavor.
Vermillion River has about 70% PG and their Kentucky Premium Blend is my everyday liquid.

I don't know if it'll solve all your problems, but check out Welcome to Tasty Vapor.

He has great flavors, good prices, and you can choose as little VG as you want. If you find a flavor there you really like you can use his doublers to save even more money. I personally use his tobacco-menthol liquid, but he sells a lot of fruit flavors as well.

Hope that helps. :)

There is also The Vapor Room: The Vapor Room.net | Vaporize Nicotine | E Cig Atomizers where you can pick 100% VG, 100% PG or anything in between. They provide very good customer service based on my experiences. But I'm not gonna go out on a limb and recommend any flavors for you because of the particular nature of that "something" you are looking for.

Well i checked out Joogler juice, and well give them a try. I placed an order :) I never heard of them before

thanks for the replies. sorry if i got a little cranky while writing the last post. just been without my happy juice for 2 months now. and been vaping all my left over failed purchases. now it's time to buy more and I'm back were i started. lol
also i found out why my present juice is tasting particularity nasty. seems my sinuses have erupted and throat and lungs are irritated. think I'm getting the flu or someting. and the VG is not helping. I'm usually not so fussy when i have several flavors to choose from. but i been stuck with just one juice flavor left for about 2 weeks now. getting real sick of it. needed to do something quick. lol man i hate getting sick :(

Im really not much help at all, but have you tried DIY Flavor Shack? Its the only place we buy from, and she (Dawn) will make it anyway you want. I would send her an email, or even call her, and she could prolly help with most of your answers, shes really amazing. I hope you get your hands on something you like soon, it can be very frustrating dealing with all that! Good luck!

thanks everyone for the responses. I got samples coming from many different directions this morning.
mostly from vendors mentioned on this tread, some not. maybe i should have started a "VG haters thread" long before, might have saved me some money in the long run.

To all vendors out there a word of advice........
telling me on your website that you won't even discuss PG/VG ratio because it's a "trade secret"
is not telling me what i need to know before ordering your product. I'm gonna find out as soon as it gets here anyway.
It's not like I'm gonna have someone else vape it for me, and I'll never know. I'll know as soon as i vape it.

and I'm not asking for the recipe, or exact numbers. even just "PG Based" is vague enough to be helpful, it would be apreciated by your customers, and still gives me an idea of what I'm buying.

I DIY my juice now, but one vendor that I used to use quite often is VaporBomb. When ordering their juice, they give you several options for the pg/vg content that you want and custom make the juice accordingly. You can choose 100%PG to 100%VG and several combinations in between. I liked most of the flavors that I tried from there including the tobaccos. Another excellent juice vendor is Backwoods Brew, but I believe his are a 70pg/30vg blend so you may not be interested in that.

Just a couple of suggestions. Happy Vaping!

Edited to add: I get my DIY supplies from MyFreedomSmokes.com which is right there in NC. They do have pre-made liquid as well and have their choices categorized by PG based or VG based. Excellent customer service and really fast shipping from them as well.

yeah ctourtelot I'll have to check them out. and I'd like to start making my own juices eventually. I've got a bunch of different samples coming now. based on suggestions in this thread mostly. I'm looking forward to them getting here. I'll post my impressions of them after I've had a chance to vape them.

I think most of my frustration has been cause I've been forced to vape from my junk shelf for about a month. you know those juices that you bought and tried once and said YUCK!!!

and most of them have been super thick and nasty tasting. I've been pretty sick the last 2 days, with fever and stuff and not been vaping as much, just mostly nyquil and sleep.

while my order of good stuff i ordered before Christmas is still not shipped yet!!!!

heres hoping the postman will bring yummy stuff tomorow......

OK

What a difference a few days make........ First I'd like to apologize for how i started out this thread i was "Very stressed" ha ha

*UPDATE: Over the last few days. New juice has been trickling in from the post office. some ordered using suggestions from this thread. some from stuff read elsewhere in the forum.

So far, I have ordered and received 14 flavors from 4 companies.
I did try to order from another vendor mentioned on this thread but they are having issiues with there Visa card payment do hicky thingy. so if there fixed up by next month will give them a try too. (they have 100% PG juice :) :) :) )

This is not a juice review thread per-Se... so I'll not attempt to do so.
but just being thorough. all samples were tried with an Joye Ego Pass-through using a Cisco 306 1.8 ohm atomizer and a Black Delrin drip tip. I have an Saber Touch VV on order, looking forward to trying that :)

Based on texture, and my dislike of VG. I will give my Opinions of what I've received so far, As you all know those who have read the thread from the start. I seem not to care for VG very much (understatement) . I'm not sure why but as time goes on my dislike of it escalates. I'm still trying to figure out if it's actually the VG itself. or maybe the PH level? maybe not all VG is the same? and maybe some of what I had was old before i bought it? maybe it was cheap Chinese juice? that's what I'm here to find out, with your help.

First I must say that although all of the samples received so far do contain some VG I have not yet encountered that sickening
Ghost coconut type taste in any of these at all. and they don't have a texture like I was experiencing before. they don't irritate my mouth, throat, and lungs as that other crap seemed to. I don't feel like I'm vaping Vaseline anymore :)

NOTE: When possible i ordered the highest PG content available from all listed vendors

The first Samples I got were from Joogler Juice. My first reaction was surprise. at how good this stuff was texture wise. at 80/20 PG/VG it was worlds apart from that other junk, very smooth, nice :)

2 Samples:

Joogler Juice: All Samples : 24mg 80/20

Joogler's Blend
Clint Vapewood

I typically think of myself as not liking tobacco flavors BUT my favorite flavor so far is a RY4 variant, and that is a tobacco flavor kinda sorta, so got to keep an open mind right? never know whats out there......

Both are very good, smooth, and compared to the last months junk, they give the impression that someone spent allot of time developing these flavors. only thing I'd change (other than the VG content) in retrospect I'd order 18mg instead.

I needed 24mg to get off and stay off of cigarettes, tried forcing myself to using 18mg about 3 months ago and it just was not doing the job. now after 6 months+ my taste buds "palate" seems to be readjusting itself? and 90% of the time I find 24mg too strong for me. most times now i'm satisfied with 18 and like the taste better also.

Next to arrive (Next Day) was 4 samples from The Vapor Room:

The Vapor Room: All Samples : 18mg 75/25 PG/VG

Peanut Butter Cookie
Orange Creamsicle
Sun Kissed
Butterscotch

Here the VG rears it's ugly head again. but taste is clean and pure. no icky VG taste as before. but the texture and feel in mouth is there more so than with the Joogler Juice, obviously this was expected. even the Joogler the VG was more than i would have liked.

But I must say: the flavor from this Vapor Room Juice (Creamsicle & PBC) is nothing short of amazing. I'm very sad that 75/25 is as hight as they go PG wise I'd love to sample this at 90/10 it would be heaven. taste wise, this has to be the best juice I've ever come across. I've only just tried the Butterscoth and the sunkissed. and have been mostly vaping the PBC and the Creamsicle. I do find the VG content way too high. but the 18mg here is a most welcome change.

And also the postman brought me a package from IkenVape

IKENVAPE: 24 mg PG Blend : exact PG/VG unknown

RY4

Wow! this stuff is some kinda good :) Still a bit to much VG sadly but i hope as the weeks go by my bad reaction to VG will go away. maybe it was caused by bad juice? i hope so i really like this stuff. super yummy. I do wish I had though a little more before pushing the order button, i would have gotten 18mg. oh well next time around, don't think this bottle will last long lol

Ponderings: I know Vaping seems to have more in common to eating than smoking, in the aspect that you can find a flavor cigarette you like and smoke it for 20 years, and love it, and never look for (or want) anything else but vaping not so much, with Vaping variety is a good thing, almost necessary. kinda like Pizza. I love Pizza. but i wouldn't want to eat it 3 times a day for 20 years.....

On the same day I received my sample pack from Pink Spot Vapors. The VG content was not specified on there site as far as i could find. but they been getting rave reviews so i figured i'd give them a shot.

Pink Spot Vapors: All Samples: 24mg PG/VG unknown

Dutch Apple Pie
Jamaican me Crazy
Kiss in the Dark
Blue Spot
Pink Spot
Tahiti Breeze
Swagger

First impressions: OOHMMFFF Major VG here. 50/50? flavor wise I can see why these guys are popular. very good tasting juice. and again despite Mucho VG. still no hint of the nasty VG aftertaste i was experiencing with the Chinese knock off juice of last month. very clean tasting, and obviously like all the juice I've received this week, very high quality juice. but I've not vaped much of the stuff apart from trying the flavors. cause the VG content is way way up there. :(

Questions: Are there any other people out there who have this degree of distaste for VG? I've heard from a few on this thread already. if so what are you Vaping? are there Juice reviewers that focus on people who don't like VG much. if so who are they. If there truly are none. maybe I'll have to provide this service for our limited sub-community. Am I now part of a minority population? Those that mean that some Pinko commy politician is now going to try to give me a government assistance program in exchange for my vote? Am I allergic to VG? seems as time goes on my tolerance for it diminishes. is this normal? has anyone else experienced this to this degree? Will it change back? Does this qualify as a disability? Those that mean that some Pinko commy politician........ect ect

Think I'm gonna write to the folks at the Vapor Room and see if there in the mood to experiment with higher PG mixes as 75/25 seems to be as high as they go. maybe if i promise them my vote in the upcoming election? lol

comments, questions, and general platitudes, are welcome......
