I would love to switch away from analogs completely but find my ecig experience to be quite unreliable.
I've found lots of e-liquids I like, but every tank I own leaks or gurgles as if it's swimming in e-liquid.
See below, each one leaks and/or gurgles except the one on the far left, which I don't know how to prime so it doesn't work either.
I would really appreciate any suggestions for reliable tanks, I almost don't care how much it costs if it won't leak or gurgle. I'm desperate.
I like to carry one in my purse so the ability to store it sideways would be helpful as well. I find it difficult to make sure the unit is always standing upright.
Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Well you could always go old school and get some xl cartos (un punched) and stick a drip tip on it. They dont hold alot so you will need to refill or switch often. Also they only last a week or so and dont try switching juices. Once filled with a flavor its there till the end so unless you like blended flavors dedicated cartos is the way to go. I have alomost enough different toys to keep me happy lol but a carto is by my bedside laying on it side usualy and I even use it on my back sticking straight up wit no leaks. They only cost under$2 so try a couple if you hate them you have not lost.

I've had great luck w/ kanger evods and protanks. They work OK stock, but if you re-wick them they work even better. I was using cotton, now am using rayon aka cellulo cotton from Sally's Beauty Supply. I will get some condensation that needs to be blown out from the bottom out the top from time to time, but no leaks and no gurgling if wicked properly.

My daughter and I have been using Evods since March. The only times we have had problems have been when the eliquid got too low or when we needed to change the coil. We both have them laying on their sides most of the time. My daughter keeps hers, along with a spare battery, in her pocket at work. We also have and use the Evod Glass, which we use on Protank 2 Mini bases so we can use the same single coils for all our clearos. Same thing - no problems unless the eliquid level gets too low or we need to change the coil. We like the Evod Glass a bit better than the Protank Mini 2s that we had originally gotten.

For us, the Evods have been very reliable, and any problems have been traceable to user error. I love the fact that the coils can be cleaned and re-used. I have been cleaning the coils since we started using Evods in March. I just started dry burning this week, and plan to try rewicking with organic cotton if I feel it necessary to prolong the life of the coils. Let's face it, I am cheap, and years of being on a strict budget have made trying to save a buck second nature to me.

If you insist on not rebuilding then aerotank mega and aspire nautilus will do the trick... however I highly highly highly recommend trying a Kayfun lite plus with a simple micro build you will kick yourself for not trying it along time ago. It really is easy and YouTube videos will guide you right through it

I have to agree with eyehere. The ONLY %100 leak/gurgle proof atomizer is not a tank, but a cartomizer. Protanks and Kayfuns will leak and gurgle when they get low, Same with Evods.

If you have "free running" liquid like in a tank, there's nothing to constrain it. It needs to get to the wick, but juice CAN saturate the wick, either by temperature (Summertime gurgles), or just being layed on it's side. When a wick is saturated, it either goes down into the battery chamber, through the air inlet, or both. A cartomizer, however, holds the liquid in a sponge like material, and the wick draws the juice from the sponge(AKA filler). when it gets saturated enough, it doesn't draw any more so the wick remains at a constant level of saturation.

Now, there are plenty of downsides to a cartomizer... one is most of the capacity is taken up by the filler, so they hold less juice. Second, is they are disposable. Another, is because of how they're made, it isn't feasably possible to rebuild a coil since it's deep inside the filler material and is usually soldiered. So when a coil is burned out, you throw them away.

A leak proof/gurgle proof, no dry hit atomizer is the holy grial of atomizers. That's why you see so many designs, they all have a different spin towards the holy grail. The protank and Kayfuns are the latest rendition, using a vacuum to keep the juice from flooding the coil, but they're not perfect.

You might want to try using your protank (the one on the left), and rebuilding the coil yourself, and add more wicking material. That helps to choke off the juice supply. the downside, is you might get more dry hits. It's the best candidate for a leakproof system. To prime it, block off the air intake hole with your finger inhales while not firing. The suction of your inhales should draw juice into the wick. Your other atomizers are CE4's and CE5's.... or "stardust" like atomizers. To keep them from leaking, try using a thicker juice, or one that has more VG in it. Also, rebuilding those will help a lot. Most atomizers "stock coils" have to work for a wide variety of juice. You can remake your wicks on those stardusts, but it'll take learning and supplies. However, they can work better if "rewicked".

Another popular solutiion, is to get a lanyard, and carry it with you around your neck. when not in use, stick it down your shirt pocket. It will keep your Ecig upright at all times and prevent a lot of leakage that way.

anyways, those are my recommendations.

All tanks will leak or gurgle during different conditions. That being said, I have 2 Aspire ETS BDC Glass tanks that have only ever leaked when I left them in my car on a hot day once. I have never had them gurgle on me unless I over saturate a new coil on install (I put a couple of drops of juice in the Atomizer head to get the wicks primed).

I've had problems with gurgling, often leading to leaking. I found out the hard way that I was doing a few things wrong (and here are my solutions:

- Inhaling to hard : take slower but longer drag.

- Inhaling for too long : trying to blow clouds that always rival with cigarette smoke with a regular tank is sometimes a lost cause. Getting what satisfies the craving and throat hit is key here.

- Vaping too quickly between drags : let the atomizer and tank cool down between drags, else it makes the juice too thin and it floods the atomizer

- Being stubborn and keep going: sometimes taking the tank off and blowing through the connection end to push excess juice up can help delay flooding issues greatly

- Not enough power from a starter kit : I wasn't getting what I needed with an eGo spinner, so I got a mod and it works better with the same tanks.

- Ambient temperature : It's hot here at this time of year and I get gurgling issues quickly whenever I'm driving on a hot day. The fix is simple, but not cheap: my next car will definitely have AC, both for personal comfort and vaping at the wheel.

- Humidity: I was mistaking atomizer gurgling and excess humidity in my tip (I can see the liquid bubbles inside the tip when that happens). Run a pipe cleaner through the tip and the tank channel at least once a day. I also rinse my tip under the tap when I refill my tank at night. Humidity can also accumulate inside the tank so, whenever I get a chance, I dismantle and rinse the whole thing under the tap and dry it as much as possible with a Q-tip and let that tank dry overnight.

- Worn atomizer seal : I use Aspire BDC tanks and had to change an atomizer because the seal was worn enough to let juice straight into the atomizer and air channel.

- Liquid level too low in an Aspire DBC large tank: When the liquid level is about even with the atomizer connection to the channel it seems like liquid gets in there easily... solution: fill before the level gets too low. That alone fixed most of my gurgling / leaking / dry hit problems

Hope some of this can help...

Here is my question and input.

On the far left, the one I believe you said you don't know how to prime, is that a Kanger protank? If so its not that hard to prime. Just fill the tank piece with eliquid, make sure you snug the coil in the base, then screw the base back on the tank. Some people I know also gently suck through the drip tip once assembled to wick the juice a bit. I hope that helps you with that, not sure if it's a Kanger, but either way it looks like decent tank in my opinion. If you do fiddle with that tank a bit and get it working, you might find that it too leaks and gurgles a bit. Now my question from earlier comes back into play, if that is a Kanger protank I would recommended the Kanger aero tank base.

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger_Airflow_Control_Valve_Protank_II_Protank_p/kr-acv.htm

That base is compatible with the Kanger protank 1,2 & 3 as well as the Kanger aero tank. The bottom is sealed and it pulls air from the sides, no more leaking on your center pin and no more gurgling. Least that has been my experience. Hope this helps you and others with similar vaping woes.

The 510 connection is sealed. Leak free. You can even try these on the t3s. BUT, you would require 4 of the silicone grommets to prevent juice from getting into the centre post. The last grommet on top should be flipped over to complete the seal.

Would this work on evods? I don't know as I don't have any evods to test. But they do fit the kanger t3s and t3. I've been using them for about a month with the 4 grommets and never had a leak.
