so i'm a zero nic user for about 6 weeks now.

i ordered some menthol, and while its good as usual, i get quite dizzy when i vape it. certainly feels like nic. i've already contacted the supplier who assures me it is zero nic. i have no reason to doubt said supplier, but my head disagrees.

it has a slight yellow hue to it, and to be honest i've never really noticed if there was a color before.

is there a relatively simple way to determine if there is in fact nic in here?

To test this requires a lab. way not worth it for your purposes. or use this: http://www.testcountry.com/categories.html?cat=132 not sure, but i bet if you dropped straight e-juice with nic on there it would be positive.

If you want to be absolutely sure (and with a yellow tinge i would be concerned) that you aren't getting nicotine just get some plain pg and a baggie of menthol crystals. put some pg in a dropper bottle, add a couple medium sized crystals and cap the bottle. place in a mug of tap water (heated from the tap, not on the stove) and let it sit until the water cools. might take a couple mugs worth of hot water. the menthol will dissolve. if you find it is too strong, add more pg. I mix up a 60ml bottle when i do this at twice the menthol amount i like, and just fill a 10ml bottle with half pg and half the menthol mix. lasts forever.

Zero nicotine, and about 5 cents per bottle depending on size :p

Just be sure to get 100% usp propelyne glycol and 100% pure menthol crystals.
if you find you are tempted to go back to smokes, add a bit of unflavored nic. if you buy it at 60mg strength add about 1/10th the bottle to get very low 6mg strength. just dont go above around 24 and you're rockin.
