I have read through a bunch of the threads regarding MM dosage and a lot of them apply to cartos. I have a ali'i and am curious how to determine what is the correct MM liquid I want to purchase.

Is this determined by the amount of analogs you used daily?
Is it determined by what kind they were?

How does one determine the correct strength to purchase. It is really confusing. I feel like the strength should be the same and then you would either vape more or less depending on what you wanted. This is how it was done with analogs.

thanks in advance for your help. I am sure the answer is here somewhere, I just cant find it.

There is not real way to determine the strength you need. The best bet is to get the same juice in different nicotine strengths and see what works best for you. There's no real accurate 'formula' or anything like that. The averge is 18-24 according to polls posted here. As far as how much juice, it depends on your vaping style and pv. Some pv's use more juice. I think the average amount is around 3-5 ml.

I don't know the answer really, however this may help . . .

It is a list of all the brands of "anologs" and the nictione & tar, etc. from the FTC:

(BTW, someone { Sorry - I can't remember who right now } posted this in my thread when I asked almost the same question. Hope it helps.)

Good advice and good figures.

I did try to read that thread. It was confusing. Here is what makes my story a little more complicated........

I have a ali'i that I have used with 0% juice for a while because I have been off nicotine for three years. I was recently diagnosed with adult adhd. One of the things that I have learned about this condition is that smoking (and nicotine in particular) can often help people with this condition. I am strongly considering taking up vaping with liquid that has nicotine in it again. I am just not sure where to start. I have purchased 8mm and 12mm and 24mm, but because it has been so long am not sure which one to start with. I am very nervous about the whole thing to be honest.

I can say it has been three years and I still miss smoking as much as I did back when I quit.

Hi, the OB. That certainly clarifies things!! If you've been off the stuff for such a long time, I'd start REALLY low, like 4-8 mg. You'll probably get a big buzz from that alone!! If you were a stark raving mad nicotine addict like most of us around here :) -- I'd advise 24, with some 36 stashed for hard times. However, much much less will be required for you to feel the effects.

And that's a sad thing to hear that after three years it isn't "all better." For me, when quitting, it was NEVER all better. I strongly suspected that it never would be. At least until I found out about vaping, that is. Great choice. Good luck!
