I put my Detonator box mod in my purse and didn't turn it off! It fired, ate up all the juice and fried the carto tank carto. I replaced the carto but it still tastes a little off. I don't know yet if the batteries are toast. Trying to charge them now. I don't understand why it leaked as well. I will never do that again!

Aww, that is the pits! I had one I put in my purse, but heard it hissing before it managed to do too much damage. At first I couldn't figure out what the sound was, I thought maybe I had pocket dialed my phone or something.
Good luck with the batteries, I hope they are still good. As for the "off" taste, maybe cleaning the tank and connectors would help? Good luck!

I had an episode of misfire with a tank. The nicquid all escapes because of the heat that is caused by an extended amount of firing. We all know cartos can get hot. We've also seen water boil-over the rim of a pot.
I'd suggest a hot water bath of all disassembled parts of your tank and dab a cotton swab with PGA into your connector.
