My friend and co-worker has developed a cough and sore/scratchy throat since she started vaping about a week and a half ago. When I talked with her today, she sounded terrible- like she has a cold or bad allergies. Her symptoms are limited to the cough and scratchy throat, though.
She's been exclusively vaping VFL Cowboy cartos on a KR8. I questioned her about whether or not she's experienced a burnt taste and she denied it- although it's hard to believe she hasn't burned through a carto, yet. She isn't topping them off or anything.
I wonder if she might be having some sort of reaction to whatever mix is in the cartos. For now, I suggested she stop vaping at least until tomorrow and I filled a VFL cool carto with Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured. I'm also bringing her a small bottle of it to top off her cartos as she uses them. Yeah, it's a different flavor than Cowboy, but at least its a good tobacco flavor.
I told her that I would check on here to see if anyone else has experienced that, and if it could be something in the pre-filled cartos that isn't agreeing with her respiratory system. Any ideas?
