Developments nessecary in E-cigs

This is a thread about nicotine absorption by vaping. The information I got about lung absorption was from a thread off this forum which I found on the search engine after looking for information about nicotine hits. Basically, I think the E-cigs would be perfect if they delivered the same hit as normal cigarettes. Whether this is done by freebase nicotine or changing the pH or whatever, I don't know.

Don't believe everything you read on this forum, and don't freebase nicotine.

So, does anyone know any company, etc. that is working on changing the e-liquid/juice/vapor so that it CAN be absorbed in the lungs? I, too, think that would make a big difference in the satisfaction of e-cigs.

Do the manufacturers of e-liquid even know this is an issue?
