Device Ban? One Bit of Hope

So like many newbies, I wonder whether my investment in vaping will go up in smoke from over-zealous politicians who think I must be protected and over-zealous marketers making claims that could shut everything down.

Then one thought gave me hope. They may ban the importation and sales of an e-cig (assembled and packaged as such) but not necessarily the piece parts. It's like buying the parts and instructions to turn a semi-automatic pistol into an illegal fully-automatic.

The liquid? That may be another story. A 0-nic formula may make it thru. I don't necessarily want to give up my nicotine but if I can still vape I think I could survive.

I get what you are saying. I once purchased a "switchblade kit." After 5 minutes of tinkering I had a switchblade. Still have it somewhere. Used it as a letter opener for years. Liquid is indeed another story but I am mostly low or zero these days...

Since I took my first vape, that's been my take... The device will be harder to enforce a ban on - it's just another gadget, fercristsake.
The liquid - poison - no getting around it. Someone WILL demand regulation and monitoring. I figured I can mix my own zero nic juice & if I NEED to have nic, will get the gum or a patch.
I love my vapor!

I'm hoping to get to the point of using only 0 level nic too. I'm using 24mg now and lowering it bit by bit. If I can be satisfied at 0 then I hope the 0 nic juice will stay legal. All this legal/illegal talk may take years to work out so we do have time to adjust.
BTW Ed, I got a few of those switchblade kits years ago and use one for the same thing. There is a good web site I found just recently that sells them fully assembled and I had several delivered no questions asked. Switchblades are illegal in just about every state yet here is a company that has no problem sending thousands of them out through the mail every day. If they can get away with that then why would a company have problems sending out E-liquid even if it becomes illegal?

Different agencies monitoring these things... Switchblades are very painful when taken internally.

Looks like its time to stock up one some juice. Tons of 36mg and just cut it to get 2-4 times the amount.. A great investment
