Hello everyone. I was just curious if there is such a device that has variable voltage and variable wattage, regular and temp control modes, takes regular and rebuildable coils, and possibly has an upgradeable chip in it? I'm still using a vv device, and I want to upgrade, but I don't want to get in over my head. I'd like to have all those options available to use when I'm comfortable and ready to use them but still be able to simply use vv with my nautilus mini while I'm still learning. I'm not sure if this makes sense, or if I'm just dreaming big lol, but that is what I'm looking for. Of course I'd like to keep the price reasonably low, but if I need to shell the extra bucks out for a quality device that is going to last me a long time, that would be ideal as well. Thank you in advance for all your input!!

There are lots of mods out there that cover all the options. Many are 'losing' VV option, but VW is enough for most.
Almost all the latest TC mods have the 'usual four' options; VW (VV), temp control, coil material and pass-through.
My personal opinion on 'upgradeable' chips is like my opinion on any firmware updates; 95% safer than smoking but not 100% certain.

I don't own one but it sounds like the Evic VTC mini has all the things you mentioned. A good place to find vape stuff is Vapecrawler
VV is just about gone, except in the Provaris and a very few higher end cloud boxes like the Hexohm and similar. VW is pretty much the new standard. In technical terms, there is no difference; given the same coil, the only way to vary the watts is to vary the voltage and vice versa, it just uses the other scale for the settings. You don't say anything about how you like to vape, or what kind of power level or form factor might please you. A mod I would recommend to a 1.2Ω tootle puffer will be different from the one a .2Ω cloud blower wants. Do you like removable batteries-- have a charger and a dozen 18650s maybe?-- or do you prefer fixed battery? Similarly one that has to be pocketable can differ from one that's intended for desktop use. There are solid choices in all these areas. A bit more info and I will try to help.
Look at a Siegelei 150 TC. Does everything you want but no upgradeable chip. IMHO
I'm not too sure about EXACTLY how I like to vape yet, but right now I have 2 vision spinner 2's that I rotate between with a Nautilus mini. The nauti changed everything for me. I dropped my nic level from 24 to 6 and after I finish this 30ml bottle I'm dropping to 4. I go up and down with the voltage depending on the juice and the same with the airflow in the nauti. I do love my little setup, but it's becoming a crazy hassle to keep up with the charging at work and when I'm busy. Plus sometimes I feel like I need a little more of a harsh throat hit to feel like a cig. I am allowed to vape indoors at work (yay GM!!) as long as I'm not blowing crazy clouds lol right now that's not an issue but I'd like to be able to adjust the cloudage depending on my location. As far as the battery situation you are referring to, I'm not quite sure which one id like-probably whatever is cheaper in the long (or short) run and easier to maintain. I usually get the 1.8coil on the nauti mini although I've heard that they have 1.6 as well but I'm not sure of the difference. I'm still a bit green in this. As soon as I think I'm beginning to understand a little, they come out with new things and I get confused all over again. I don't personally know any vapers, so that's a bit hard for me. The shops around here just wana make a buck so I've pretty much given up on that. If my setup is down for any reason, I still end up smoking regular cigs so that sucks too. Thank you for your help.

Having a back up is a great idea for any vaper. I would suggest investing in a single battery mod which uses replaceable 18650 sized batteries. Buy extra batteries ($7 online in the US) and an independent charger (like the 4 bay Nitecore $20) and you'll have plenty of mah to get you thru the day. Just swap out the battery for a fresh one and put the old one in a plastic battery case ($1 or free depending on where you buy the batteries). You can put them on charge when you get home. (The LG HG2 batteries are 3000 mah each, more mah than the Spinner 2) Mah is how long a battery will last until it needs recharged.
The new mods are really simple to operate, especially in power mode (VW). You don't have to get into the temp control but the mods with TC are about the same price so it's a feature you can grow into.
I kept extra Nautilus tanks because I haven't found an all day vape. I have quite a few vapes I will use for long periods of time though. I would swap out a tank just to change flavors, or when one needs filled and I couldn't get to it right away, or when a coil dies and I can't do that either. Invest in your health, it does take a few $$ but it's worth it to stay away from the cigs. The Spinner 2's will make a good backup.
I had a healthy cig budget which I turned into a vape budget. There is help to be found in the forum as well.

Ok, that's a good start. Yes, you need to dump the spinner batteries and move up to a mod, for battery life if nothing else. If you like your Nautilus there's no reason to change; it's an excellent little tank for Mouth-to-Lung vaping and one I recommend all the time. In general, the lower the value of the coil ohms, the more and warmer vapor it will produce, and the more power and juice it will consume; the opposite is true for higher value coils. I personally prefer removable battery mods. I think it is easier and simpler to simply swap for a fresh battery than plug the mod in to charge it. Other people disagree with that. A removable battery machine costs more up front because you have to buy spare batteries and a stand-alone charger is strongly recommended. In the long run it is cheaper because the battery is the weakest link and, with fixed battery mods when the battery goes the whole mod is gone where a removable only needs a new battery.
If you are uncertain just where you want your vape to be-- you sound a bit like it-- good choices would be a Knager Topbox kit or and Evic VTC kit (removable battery) or the Evic VT kit for fixed battery. These come with tanks that have available a much wider selection of coils than your Nauti, including +ohm, subohm and Temp Control, and adjustable air flow to match the air to your vape style and coils. The Kanger tank that comes in the kit-- the Subtank-- could be paired with any other mod to get the same effect.
If you like MTL and are happy with your Nauti, then all you need is a new power source. Your selections are wider because you aren't buying a kit. Any of the mods above without the tank will work just fine, and I would add the SIgelei Mini Book-- I bought my gal one of those for Christmas, she loves it-- or the Cloupor Mini Plus for removable battery, and the Innokin Cool FIre 4 or the Council of Vapor Mini Volt for fixed battery. In fixed and removable battery, the various iSticks are a good buy as well.
Thank you very much. I'm going to research all of those asap. I like watching YouTube video reviews and things but most of them are about big clouds and droppers and stuff I'm not interested in just yet. I not sure if you can post on here, but do u know of any reliable sources on YouTube or otherwise that I could watch reviews that maybe break stuff down in beginners terms or how to videos lol. I bounce back and forth between mouth to lung and straight lung hitting. I absolutely love vaping I will try as many different types and styles until I figure out where my sweet spot is. What do you vape on? I love hearing everyone's experiences, pros and cons, etc.

I have to want to know something very bad, and the info not be available any other way, before I will do it. If you want to bounce back and forth, then one of the tanks with the Kanger or Evic parts might suit you because of ability to adjust the vape. The Nauti is a fine tank, but not real variable. As to what I vape, I have scads of gear and like to switch up. Right now, on my desk, I have a Wotofo Phantom mechanical mod topped with a Wotofo Sapor dripper, and a copper FUhattan mechanical mod topped with a copper Mutation V4 dripper, plus a pair of RX200 regulated mods, topped with an Indulgence MT tank and an Advken Ωmega tank. The tanks are built as identical as I can make them (I'm testing them side-by-side), with dual parallel SS316 coils at .11Ω in Temp Control mode. The drippers are built about .4Ω with Kanthal 26/32 Clapton wire. Each has a different juice. And in my "go to work" bag, I have set up a Reo Grand SL/LP mechanical squonk mod topped with a bottom feed Velocity dripper, and an SX Mini regulated mod topped with another MT RTA. I have an eVic mini and for the time being I'm working on the theory it won't last very long. I have 4 months remaining warranty.
My original eVic broke and Joyetech didn't want to know. I replaced the 'brain' and it still works. At Vapefest 2015, I saw/heard about many broken eVic VTs (the big one) and even saw one in the trash.
For *me* I wouldn't consider any device a sure-fire long-term prospect (excluding mechanicals), so I don't buy a mod with the intention of having it a long time. This negates the need for either considerably more power (head room) or upgrade-ability.
There is no chance of me buying (for example) a Lavabox 200 or such a ridiculously expensive device. To me, even if a company like Volcano offer better customer service than some (I don't like them one iota, regardless) how long do we ever get anything genuinely warranted? Not long enough for that money.
It's about time more companies started to look at totally repairable modular systems. It may seem things are moving in this direction, but it's very slow. If and when we get there (and we should do unless Vaping is bought to a complete end) it'll be a happy day.

I started higher than ego level vaping with a coolfire 4 and a nautilus mini for the daytime and kanger subtank nano for evening pleasure...
I'll never even bother buying any other tanks, the nauti at 15W and the subtank nano .5 ohm coils between 25-32W - both are perfect to me and I feel no need to go higher...
70/30 liquid for the subtank nano and around 40VG60PG for the nauti mini... I'm set for life as long as they don;t get banned / outlawed etc....

I got fed up recently with mini Nautilus (seems the newer coils don't work for me as well) so I took a gamble on 2 x Kayfun Monsters. I always enjoyed Kayfuns but I found the wicking (soaking up the juice) a little unpredictable. These are much better, although I haven't risked much above 16 watts. Fabulous flavour mind you.
I agree , i still use the Nautilus and i have been vaping around two years , i also use the Kayfun v2's because they just work .
As long as the device you buy handles the wattage range you vape at and it's a proven mod you should be good .
I still use the mods i bought when i started every day , they never miss a beat and have quality chipsets , all aluminum housings that can take repeated drops etc..
Lots of the new mods are made much less robust these days .
