So far you are only hearing from the new MVP2 owners. I got mine last sept. when the 2's came out.
1 the fire switch is wonky. Don't get good contact unless your finger is dead center. As time goes on, becomes a big annoyance.
2 contacts are low. Will not couple to an Igo W. Which I didn't use last summer.
3 limited vv vw range.
2 months ago purchased the SVD. Addresses all the above issues with grace & aplomb. Expect to pay 18usd for nite core 4 and 6 a piece for effest imr batts.
Don't let the battery/charger issue prevent you from considering this option. I mean you're going to get batts sooner or later..

I'll put my 2 cents in. Got my MVP from eccigity last Saturday. Very hard to get the charger cord to connect. Center pin became very finicky to connect. I think I got a lemon. So.. I would suggest paying $15 more from a B&M just incase you get a lemon. I liked my evods until I got my Kayfun lite plus clone. Now I won't even use them. The MVP does not seem to give a better vape than my Ego C twist. However the battery life is what makes it great. My advise as a newbie… KFL+ with a MVP2 (from a local shop) and you got yourself a very good setup.

The mvp is a great mod but it is square and a bit bulky and you have to have your finger dead center of the fire button in my opinion I use it at home alot , the sid is also a great mod but unlike the mvp you do have to get seperate batteries and charger for it. I have several evod tanks that I use on twists here and there and get good vapor production out of. Either are good the sid has a higher wattage setting than the mvp, if you want a good tank that has good vapor production and dont want to invest in a Nautilus then I would go for the aspire BDC they are around 10-15 bucks depending where you buy from I just bought a few on ebay for 9.95 w/free shipping , the nautilus is the best I have found as of yet but are a bit pricey. I have some Kayfuns coming to try my hand at rebuildables because they say they have the best vapor and flavor. Here a good video to explain vv/ww.Vaping E-Cigs Voltage Vs. Watts - YouTube

I appreciate all the replies, I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on an MVP for $35 from vapeME and hope it's not a lemon or a knockoff, I'm also gonna grab an aspire BDC from them as well for the time being and keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on a nautilus. I'm sure I'll end up getting into other mods and RBAs at some later point in time. With the money saved from quitting analogs I can justify spending some cash on vaping equipment
