My wife has been vaping casually for about a month now, weening herself off analogs. Today is her two week mark with zero analogs! Yay her! I'm very proud of her. She has used nothing but 510 cig a like batts and cartomizers and that has worked well for her.

When I get a new device or delivery system, I ask her to try. She has been very open minded to trying new devices. Most of the time, they are too strong for her tastes... At first. I just received a new EVOD, since I PIF'ed my last two. I loaded it up and get ready to try. Being the gentleman I am, I asked if she wanted to try it. I never got it back. Same thing happened to my favorite ego battery and vv v3. Now she's starting to reach for my mvp2! When she is having a tough time, she tells me to hand her the "big boy".
:p

I have created a monster. This Christmas, shopping for her will be the easiest ever! At least with both of us off analogs, that just increases the vape budget. She appreciates and understands my quest for a better vape. Hopefully I get the mail today before she does. I have a feeling I will never get to use the agr+ tank I ordered last week.

Don't take this as complaining, as it is meant to be humorous. Maybe it is one of those "had to be there" things. We laugh about it.

:toast:

Spouses that understand are THE BEST!

My hubby never smoked. He is THRILLED that I haven't had a smoke since before Easter. He notices last month that I wasn't buying much. He also noticed me struggling with my gear and trying to make do with stuff that just was not working well for me. He asked what was up. When I told him I was saving as much of my vape budget as I could to try to eventually get a REO and a RM2. First he asked me to show him what it was. Then he said "Well Pick out the one you want and order it we will call it an early birthday/Christmas presie. I am not going to sit by and watch you suffer and fail. Get what you need."

She never did smoke and I am maybe $500 into vaping. When it was $400 and 4 days smoke free she says "another one?". So I touted the health benefits and calculated my break even point of money not spent on smokes is going to be at about day 60-70 (juice variable). Said I won't need more hardware until after that. She paused, shrugged, and not a word since. Counts as support for her. Actually one of the things I like about her is not keeping her mouth shut. Unless it's aimed at me.

My wife was having some issues with her ego and i had been looking at an evod so instead of getting me one i got her one. She loves it. I eventually got me one and then an x6 that she hates and now about to get a provari which she has tried and does not like either. all she asked was if she could have my old evod when my provari got here. I dont think that is too much to ask since she has been humoring me with every purchase i get. I do make sure she has plenty of liquid. A local store did a buy one get one over the weekend and I told her to get both in flavors she liked. A happy wife = a happy life.

Thanks! The 6th grader in me thinks the same thing every time she says it, along with the typical
"that's what she said..." and "i got yer big boy...". After being with her for almost twenty years, she knows how I think... and she still stays. Got to give her kudos for that, too. :D

In our younger days, Hubby bought me jewelry. Yesterday, he came home with a "peace offering" he called it. It was a pink ego case, ego charge cable, pink battery, pink clearo, pink tip and pink car charger. Its the first vape gear he's ever bought (non-vaper/non-smoker.) After I got over my shock and thought about it, I was happier with that gift than any other he's ever gotten... no kidding... I truly liked it more than diamonds! Yes, my vaping makes life much easier for him.;)

to all those out there trying to convert their spouses who still use the stinkies, with no luck, dont give up...

my wife said she would stick to rolling her own stinkies... i made it a point to talk about vaping frequently... just like oh this is cool, that is cool, etc etc, even though i wasnt a huge fan of the peppermint patty liquid i had, i knew she occasionally enjoyed a pull from that, more than she would the mtn, i mean vapo dew...

eventually she decided to take the plunge... be a subtle pain, dont push them, but instead talk about all the positives, talk about how good something tastes, get a liquid that you know they would love, and talk about just how good it is...

dont make it convincing them to quit, make it them wanting to start vaping...
