As a long time DIYer the current discussion about diacetyl and other matters releated has left me a bit confused.
While trying to study the matter it just opens new questions and leaves the ones needing answers open.
So think I ask em here and hope others might find the (possible) answers helpful.
What are the flavours in general to be avoided?
Can I get harmful stuff into my mix by mixing "safe" flavours and/or adding things like sweetener?
If so, how fast does it happen and should I only mix small enough patches, that are used up before that?
Whom are the "safe" manufactures of flavors?
