Stuff will happen about 3 weeks into vaping after 30+ years of smoking.
Losing your taste buds for a day or two is common.
Lower abdomen pains is another. This is usually dehydration. Drink tons of water. not pop or coffee...water.

Agree water, gatorade, stuff like that.

I would say 80% of the side effects had everything to do with stopping smoking and less to do with vaping itself. For a long time I wondered if I would ever stop coughing stuff up. Sure enough, I have. I think it took my body about 4/5 months to clean itself entirely out. As is probably repeated often, you're detoxing not just off the cigarettes but thousands of chemicals too. It can be a shock on the body.

Here and now I feel tons better. I can actually jog. Me. Run. Never! Would of never thought possible and now I'm doing great. My attitude towards life is general I've noticed has greatly improved too. Smoking was a huge monkey on my back that took a psychological toll.

Super dry mouth from not drinking enough water, which I did before vaping too. Snuffy nose at times and sore throat, but may be a PG allergy? These few things are nothing compared to the issues I had when smoking cigarettes. I too, like frosting thought I would never stop coughing stuff up and that was all while smoking cigarettes. It got to be pretty embarrassing when I would suddenly have a coughing fit that I could not control. I am so glad those days are over :)

The biggest thing I've noticed is after mostly vaping/very few cigs for days then having some kind of problem with the equipment, the normal bumps in the road, you find out the suck of cig-alikes, those plastic cartotanks or whatever their called, quality liquid can take time to arrive etc. Anyway when I go back to full time smoking it's ack, how did I do this everyday for 27 years? I can't breathe correctly, my sinuses are messed up, I don't want to light another one but I'm too stupid not to, is the mailman here yet?

No upset stomach here, although I do notice my tastes changing. Flavors are richer, and I have almost no desire for sweets any more. I had a piece of Halloween candy and it was...well, that was sufficient.

I do notice a lot more intestinal gas, and it might be my returning sense of smell or it might just smell very bad. I'm not sure which. I do notice a little constipation, but that seems to be slowly going away.

True to the candy part.

I was addicted to mint candies for more than a decade. Specifically Halls Extra Strong. I always had it on me like how I always had cigarettes.

Then one fine day after I started vaping, I noticed ants on my table because the pack of Halls I bought on the day I returned to vaping was left untouched for weeks.

I didn't even realize.

I am glad that you posted this. I'm right at three weeks into vaping and last night the juice that I was vaping tasted like something that was burning. The first thing that I did was switch flavors and there was not much difference. These were both in Vivi Novas, so then I thought that they suddenly went south on me. So I switched to a carto and that tasted like crap, too. So I figured that I had enough and went to bed.

Anyway, when I went back to vaping this morning everything was fine and tasty again. It was more or less a mystery to me until I read your post. Thanks for the info.

I've been vaping for about 3 months & the first month I thought I might be rotting on the inside.  The gas was horrible. Thank the gods it finally stopped after a few weeks. I think I went through 3000 cans of air freshener. ;)

I'm still waiting for it to stop, and I do believe that whatever's rotting in there is still not quite finished yet. I hope it's done soon.
