I understand from a vendor that the Riva 1100 Mah is the same thing. I use that and it is pretty great. I found my nitch in it.

I don't think so, something to do with way the Riva is regulated differently than the Kgo not sure.
They might have updated the Riva, again not sure, more research required or a reponse from someone using a Kgo.

I use E-power 14650 and the 18650, I like them both.
