You can use cartos even on a standard 510 battery as long as you use 2.5 ohm and above. The Kgo will rock with 2.0 Boges. Atomizers are the standard issue on a lot of 510 thread ecig kits. There are also carto 510 kits widely sold. Cartos are cheap but they figure you will need a couple of atomizers anyway.

you can use lower ohm on the kgo. I used 1.5 and 1.7 and even 2.0. I have never used 1.25 but I am sure others have ( I think that one voids the warrenty for Hoosiers slb kgo). I think the cartomizers under 2.5 work better for the unit.

I think purchasing a few differnt cartomizers are the best way to find your favorite.

the boge 2.0 cartomizers really hit the sweet spot on those things. 1.5ohms really produce mountains of warmth but burn off a lot of flavor for me. I haven't seen a vendor sell a cartomizer kit though. He sells a 5 pack of 2.0ohms for around $6 but I can't remember who makes them

The 1.5 produce warm vapors but I agree it kills the flavor. I really like 1.7. I know a lot of people who like 1.5 ohm though. It is so interesting how people vary so much on preference.. I have not had a good vaping experience with boge but so many people rave about them

Any way for me to have a hint of what I'd prefer seeing as I prefer cool carts over wow carts at V4L?? I'm realllllly new and have no idea the difference between 1.5 and 2.0 etc.

And TY so much for your info <3

I believe the cool carts run at a standard ohm. Without getting into the whole volts vs ohms =watts thing, the lower the ohms, the hotter the atomizer runs and the warmer the vape. A lot of people prefer a warner thicker cloud of vapor. Also, a better throat hit is produced. It is a little more hands on. The lower ohms burn juice a little faster and if you don't keeo uo with it, you can get a dry, harsh vapor.
On the other hand, the cool carts need primer puffs sometimes to really get a good vapor going.

With the kgo, you will be able to push the button a second before inhale and eliminate primer puffs. When you look for cartomizers, the kgo runs at the same volts your 808 runs at (3.7-4.2v) and , if you like the vapor of the cool carts, (which really produce a better tasting vapor) you will look for cartomizers that run at 2.5-3.0 ohms (or standard resistance)

kjay, I have a kgo I got from Brent at KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit. I emailed him with questions and he answered promptly with an answer. He ships quickly, too.

I ordered 1.7 ohm cartos and they were too much TH for me. They produce a hot vapor. I prefer cooler, so I ordered 3.0ohm SR and I prefer that. If you want a big hot TH go for the lower LR ohm, for a cooler hit, go with the SR higher ohm.

Those 1100mAh batteries will last you all day.

I prefer Boge 2.0 LR cartos on my eGo. The 1.5 clearomizers, OTOH, are not bad. I have some CE2 clearos and some Smoketech 1.5's. Some juices just can't take the LR cartos at 3.7v. At 3.4v with the eGo batts, my vape is just where I want it. Screw the same 2.0 carto on a Riva batt and it tastes on the edge of harsh to me. We all have our preferences.

The kgos are great! I went from the 808 to kgo and haven't regretted it for one single second. I've used 1.5 dual coils, 1.7 single coils, boges, tanks, and I honestly refer the emdcc. It's a personal thing though, you'll find what you like if you just buy a few different ones and try them out. Point is, there is a wide range of things you CAN use with the kgo, and for the price they can't be beat. I say go for it....you won't be sorry :)
