DID Atomiser

Hi veterans,
Need advice, I set up my SHORT DID, everything OK, measured at 1.8ohm
But when fire up, not much vapor as What I see in utube.
Anything wrong with my set up or it's normal.
I'm using 50/50 ejuice

Looks extremely tight.

Did you dry burn to check the coil before putting any juice? Do they glow evenly?

Are you using kanthal?

Oh, I didn't dry burn to see if all coil glow.
Is this step important?, I'm using kanthal.
Now how, recoil so it's not so tight? N dry burn?

I'd suggest to recoil the whole thing but you can try shifting the coils a little first.

The coils should be just touching the mesh. urs is like strangling them liao.

Just in case u're wondering y my coils are so thick, they are 2 strands of 32AWG Kanthal twisted together. Mesh is 6cm of #400 rolled by my years if smoking ang hoon

your mesh 6cm meaning the length, so it
Roll already very thick?.
Can tell me the cut size of the mesh

Thicker wire = lower resistance.

6cm is the rolling length. Just roll until tight tight. Still got roughly 1mm space in the mesh hole

First up, at 1.8ohms, what voltage are you firing at? Anything below 4v isn't going to give u much.
Second, for Gen attys, try going lower then 1.5ohms... It just works better.
My usual is 1.0 ~ 1.2.

I find DID has the best model design after Hellfire! But don't squeeze the coil slanted so much on DID, it's nature design already allows the top part of the coil to be as near as it can get. welcome to the DID family.
