Did Cinnamon juice eat my coil?

I had a carto filled with cinnamon juice. Its been sitting for a few days. I went to vape on it today, and the coil was gone. Did the cinnamon corrode it? Or did I just notice it had died when i put it away? I use condoms when I'm letting a juice sit in its carto.

I think cinnamon is one of the juices that can damage attys or cartos but never heard about eating coils like that.
Are you sure the carto was ok when you filled it?

No, cinnamon oil would not dissolve a metal wire... The carto must have been defective.

Did you autopsy it? What kind of coil did it have? Vertical or horizontal?

Yes it could Katya, but i would not advise to vape it... lol

bah, I vape a VERY strong cinnamon all day, it's my primary vape, and while it'll gunk up cartos, I've never had one eat any of the carto up. I've had it turn delrin drip tips soft, but nothing beyond that. and I let carts sit for days sometimes.

The only thing I've had cinnamon do is eat the plastic on a dual coil clearomizer. Fell apart in my hands...not melt it.

Thanks. Its a vertical LR. Gonna chalk it up to a defective carto and keep going on the cinnamon....

Ive been vaping mostly cinni in cartos for almost 2 years without issues.Probably just a defective carto.The cinni does gunk them up quicker though.
