I ordered myself a Reo Mini and received it yesterday. I also ordered various items to go along with it.

Since the AW batteries weren't available at the time, I ordered UltraFire 14500 900 mah 3.6v batteries. Now I'm wandering if I made a total noob mistake? They haven't arrived yet, so figured I better be asking before I screwed something up.

I ordered the AW 14500s this morning, figured there was no such thing as too many batteries when it comes to vapeing.

Thanks in advance.

I actually have a pair of AW 14500's and a pair of the Ultrafire 14500 900mah 3.6v's too. The AW's last much longer, but I have not had any problems using the Ultrafires. I am ordering a 2nd pair of the AW's but will use the ultrafires as a back up. So I think you will be ok.

The Ultrafires are fine if they are protected

I am using the protected 900mah hour Ultrafires in my 3.7v box mod w/ a dual Ultrafire 14500/10440 charger

The difference between the AW IMR high drains and the Ultrafire is (I think) the AW's will hold their voltage better but not last as long, the voltage of the Ultrafires will drop down to around 3.4v (?) and last longer. I still need to get some AW IMRs

Note - if a mod takes 2 batteries, don't mix types (don't mix IMR and Ultrafire in the same mod at the same time)

And some handy battery holders - search Ebay for 4 AA plastic case to find cheap plastic cases for batteries. And I also have a little case like the ballistic nylon keyring case at Lighthound.com though I paid a lot more for it as a "juice case" from Mrs T's. If I didn't have a case I would misplace the batteries!
