It is just sitting here doing nothing...Not really heavy enough to be a paper weight.

I think I may have flooded my first atty ever. It happened the other night I believe. I Kinda blew on it some, let it sit, and it hit again, like normal. Great flavor and everything.

Then today at work, I think I might have flooded it again.Or something... I didn't taste any dry hits that would make me think I burnt something. Yet I switch to a carto "which I have yet to perfect my technique on" and it worked. So I let the atty sit for a few hours now, and nothing.

I guess what my question is. If you do flood the atty, or if for any reason it stops vaping right, and it is not due to a battery being discharged, or the lack of juice, or the fire pin, what do you do? I mean this Reo design is so awsome and primitive. It has got to be me, or the atty.

Can you fry an atty by simply applying to much juice?

I mean my corto hit fine, as I had a spare just in case of such a situation, but I have only been vaping 3 days now. The atty shouldn't be dead right? I got it from Reos site when I purchased the Grand. I got two, and now I am down to one,and about 20 cartos that I quit frankly suck at using so far. I am guessing I could have a dud, but yet I wonder if maybe I caused this to happen...

I have been getting great hits, and now great flavor since the juice has aged some! It worked great for 3 days.

Is their some continuity check I can do on one to verify integrity of the atty?

Or mnaybe I just spend more money on an atty? Thanks for any help!

I just put in another atty! And your right, the atty was dead for sure.Which I figured, I just didn't know if I could revive it. lol I wonder why it stopped working beoree, and then worked again. I guess maybe a loose connection. Hmmm.

Well I need some more attys pronto. It might be my new methods, or something, but the atty tasted so much better than the carto. I mean like 10 fold!

What about Cisco atomizers? I looked through this forum a bit. Are they the best for Reo?

They are my favorite atomizer . I would give the Cisco's a shot for sure
The coil on your atomizer could have just broke. Bad solder joint the list goes on I wouldn't no for sure unless I took it apart

My first two atty's ever used died quickly, like one day or less. I really believe it was user error. The atty was working fine. I was vaping and everything was good. Then I noticed a drop in vapor. The taste was off a little. I had just taken a long draw. I immediately squonked and took another draw. Nothing. What I believe happened was when I squonked I hit the hot coil with juice. That popped the coil.

Since then I wait if I get that off hit. Give the atty a chance to cool. Do a hit without firing. Then squonk. My attys last a long time now.

oooh. hh357 long barrel from avid vapor... Sound like a hand gun. "haha"

Ok I am checking this out! I am opening so many accounts with so many sources. I keep having to have them email my password because I forget it. lol

Is their like a one stop and shop place where you can get everything? Sheeesh...

I would do more research, but I am trying to be Reo specific, and this is the Reo forum, and all. Thanks so much for your help!

nerak!

I I am guessing you are so right!

What happened i am betting that the was a flavor started tasting so good. It sucked at first been, then all the sudden after three days it is amazing honeysuckle! I probably got excited. I guess I was happy just to have something taste so good!

Do the higher resistance attys do better in this situation? I mean I like I big hit! I want it to hurt a little. And I keep reading the lower the resistance the better. Is their nothing you can do to the juice to offset this what seems to be fact.

I mean he coil should be bigger in a higher ohm atty right? Could I just sweeten my juice, add some nic or something to offset everything?

I DIY my juice. I kick up the flavor to 20%. I vape 32mg nic. I love the LR attys. That flavor percentage works great for me in the LR attys and cartos.

Just wanted to mention. I buy Joye LR 510 and 306 attys. I buy quite a few so I buy the bulk here: http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-510-1-5-Ohm-LR-e-cigarette-10-pack-atomizers-p/510-atom-bulkpack-lowres-stnls.htm Check them out. A great price per atty. They work really well for me.

fogbear: just buy a few LR 510 atomizers for $4 or $5 each and use those for a few weeks before moving on to Cisco spec or even the HH .357.

As a new vaper, you're most likely going to kill a few until you get the technique down. Once your 510's are lasting 3 weeks or more, then you can venture out.

Just my opinion, but I'd save you some cash and frustration.

Ah...the joys of learning how to fine tune your set up to gain vaping nirvana. So the juices can be tweaked so to speak in order to increase throat hit. That is the part you are referring to when you say make it hurt. Throat hit can be increased in a number of ways. Juices with higher Nic, or have cinammon, or that are made with more of a PG base than VG will give you a higher throat hit. You can also ad a few drops of PGA or distilled water...I have heard that can increase TH has well. It takes time to figure out what you like...a real trial and error process. Unfortunately, we can all give you recommendations, but there's no telling whether you would like any of our choices in juice.
:) Do you have any flavor type preferences yet? Fruits, tobaccos, sweets?

I love what I have! Well now anyway. It took a couple a days for all my flavors to start tasting good. I got some flavors from KBV, and well. They rock! Actually I have no complaints at all, except for the burnt atty. My experience has been so much more than I could hope for!

I know I am a rookie, yet I am also a pioneer, " i guess we all are for being here"

I am so about to buy some flavors, and nic pg base, some pg,vg, and start making my own.

I did a lot of math last night, and I have concluded their is no other way to go. To buy juice from vendors, well you may as well smoke 10 analogs a day. I am guessing if I make my own I can get by with 3 to 4 dollars a week!
Not including hardware like burnt addys. "hehe"

I guess I just read about peoples addys lasting a month, and a half, and well 3 days. Really? I guess I will figure it out. I will probably keep buying a daily vape flavor, until I can make my own stuff to desire.

I must be bored as this is become a hobby for me. DYI is only going to make it more fun!

I should stick to cheapos for now.I would probably burn a 20 dollar atty in 3 days. lol

I have some tobacco flavor "phillip more or less" I tried putting it in my atty a couple of times, and it was good, but I think I like fruity stuff so far" haven't tried a coffee, or nutty flavor yet. But with less analog intake, I might like tobacco flavors more so, but I doubt it. Honey suckle rocks! And I love blueberries as well! But what do I know. I have so much to experience!

I just can't believe I burnt an atty in 3 days...That's 5 dollars!

I am not fully converted at all. But I can tell that vaping is worth wild, as my analog intake is cut by 3/4.

It is funny, because when I first got my 36 mg nic juice I thought it was to harsh. But now that the flavor has set in, I am completely satisfied! I give other smokers at work hits, when they ask, and their like, yummy!

Now I smoke analogs, and I vape! "haha!" I added a new addiction to my life. I plan to slowly ween myself off the anys. Not trying to go in shock! Maybe drop one cig a week, unless I get some unexpected grace. When my addy went out today, I found out a little bit how much i like to vape, as I craved a vape. That was cool! Just realizing how good, and different it is.

I am getting o few of the the 1.5 ciscos

Thankyou!

Dropping the analogs might come quicker for you than you realize. You just might come to prefer vaping over smoking. That's what happened with me. I wasn't seriously trying to quit.

Vape on! :thumb:
Yep...me too. Once I got a device that worked according to my needs it was only a few short weeks before I was smoke free and it was nearly accidental...like I forgot to smoke! And I had completely given up on trying to quit smoking some time before.
