Did I just break it?

So I got my LT yesterday, charged the batteries, and started using it. I'm using the provided atty and drip tip since I'm still waiting for my tanks to arrive. I took a couple of puffs at 4V and 4.5V then I put in 2 new drops and bumped it up to 6V just for the hell of it. It started to fire then there was a little pop and now it no workie.

I tried it with a different 510 atty I have and it worked so I know its not the LT. Did my atty really just break after 30 min? Has anyone else had this happen?

Most likely the atty died. Depending on its resistance, 6 volts could have easily killed it.

Sounds like the atty popped. I've had one go on the 2nd vape and some that have lasted me over a year, luck of the draw.

This happens with some attys used with high voltage. Do you have a multimeter to check the attys resistance?

Damn, that's what I figured. I've never had one pop on me before, its always that gradual tighter and tighter draw.

No multimeter yet. Its still on my list of things to get.

Now I have to just sit here and look at this thing and be jealous until my tanks come. Ahhh!

I've got some 1.5 dc's that I had and they snap, crackle and pop and it's awesome......best 3.7V vape I've had yet on the Lava. 1.5 singles...."DEAD" is right for sure on that "pop" and no worky.

haha my boge 2.5 carto does the same. For some reason I like hearing the crackling sound. Although I find with thicker juices it doesn't do it as much.

It's funny I actually listen for my carto's to "snap crackle and pop" before I hit them!

but when you use 6 volt with 1.5 ohm
lavatube decrease the volt to 3.7
so why atty dead
that hapend with me with 2.5 ohm

maybe that mean sometime safety secure no work and make more volt
or maybe only atty its bad

Yeah it shouldnt have popped because of voltage as the LT lowers voltage automatically. Did you let it get really dry?

Yeah I think I didn't add enough liquid to it before I fired it up.
